Nothing much to add to what's been said already. Surprised at some of the negative comments about Leaburn who I thought was a good outlet under very difficult circumstances.2 -
Well at least we showed up
11 v 11 and we win that, once Ramsey goes and they equalise I genuinely thought they were gonna nick it
Campbell and Apter had their full backs on toast
gotta feel for Kelman he’s not had a single start with a ‘big man’ to play off14 -
Always the way, we find a way to throw it away against the Scum from a winning position, this time it was a boneheaded challenge from the usually cool, calm and collected Ramsay, and Coventry turning out a dud performance in front of the defence that ultimately undid us. Some will complain about Kaminski pushing the ball out but there wasn't much else he could do in that moment and none of the team reacted to it. On another day (read: against anyone but Millwank) and we bury a second chance, keep 11 on the pitch and run out a comfortable 2-0 win

Goals win games.
we buy Kelman and don’t play to his strengths. He wants to play on a shoulder and needs someone like Leaburn to play alongside him.
As for Kaminski, I’m not impressed.10 -

Still looking for that killer instinct to finish off their opponents when the chance arises ..2

side seen at the valley , first half we were by far the better team , second half perhaps we didn’t hit the heights of the first but could not see Millwall
scoring at all …… but like last week a sending off that did not happen changed the game and a mindless 2 mins from Ramsey cost us points today ….. the only thing he was unlucky to be booked for the first foul when it was someone else who committed the foul not Ramsey so wonder if the club can apoeal that ?……. we proved again today we deserve to be in this league and really gave a decent showing again , but like Campbell at QPR mindless mins cost us at this level0 -

When will we play a proper 2 up front to give us a chance of scoring more goals.5

Wasn’t there but I don’t think we gave it away because of Ramsey getting sent off or Kaminski’s parry, obviously neither helped. We drew because we didn’t manage a moment in the game and our inability to score more than once.
Can’t predict what’s going to happen in a game, who knows, we may have given away a penalty or conceded an og off someone’s arse.
By the sound of it, we played well and were the better team for long periods, something that can’t always be said for previous Charlton teams.
Hugely disappointing but I would have felt a whole lot worse had we lost.0 -

That's the only question that needs asking today.
If he hadn't of put in such a rash second challenge we would have won.
We've largely dominated most of the game except for the period when we were down to 10 men. And therefore its so frustrating not to beat such a woeful Millwall team. We won't get a better chance to beat them. That said, I was more than happy to hear the final whistle as it would have been unbearable if we had lost.
One final point. I'm really not impressed by Kaminski and I've no idea why we spent (supposedly) £800k on him. Five games and he hasn't come for a single cross. If Maynard-Brewer had been in goal today and let that goal in, this board would be on fire with people moaning about him simply pushing the first shot straight out. Mannion should have been given a chance to play and the fact he is not on the subs bench makes me wonder if he has had a bust-up with Jones behind the scenes.
He came out a number of times today made punches and caught the ball what game was you watching .. controlled his box excellently

Bailey said:Can't knock that performance. Every player showed commitment and looked like they knew how much it meant. Kelman got stuck in and looked a handful, considering where Campbell has been for ten days he worried the pants off them. Some much improved performances after the QPR game and Alex Neil had to change the shape to get his side back in the game, even then they weren't great, then comes the sending off. I would have been happy with a draw before the game and I'm still happy now, there is much more to come from both sides.

With 11 men on the pitch we were winning that. Sure he is in credit but that is on Ramsay today. Still can't believe he flew in for both tackles. We'll never beat millwall.

Leonards challenges on TC in the first half were far worse than anything Ramsay was guilty of. Ref didn't card him. Ramsay deserved his yellow card for the second challenge, but the first was at least 50% down to Coventry.13

It’s my birthday today. Got to go out for dinner tonight but I’m so pissed off right now I couldn’t think of anything worse. The boys played so well and deserved 3 points. Truly cursed1

I don’t blame Ramsay at all. Silly challenge but 99% of the time he gets them right and tackling is why we love him. More than in credit. Some people are talking as if he’s Ryan Inniss.10

It's a tough call Ronnie, the midfield were excellent today and the player Knibbs would replace is Carey. That said his chance will come I'm sure.0 -
Will be sweeter to break the curse at The Den14

Silly challenge changed the game.Carey was superb today.1 -
We outplayed them when it was 11 v 11.We outsung them until they scored (made easier by them not singing, admittedly). They showed their true colours after the game, heroically breaking down the Landsdowne Mews gate and harassing the pensioners leaving the Curbs stand.Shit club. Shit team. Shit fans.27
