Not WWE but still wrestling related - an apparent case of attempted murder in the ring. And sadly, that is not exaggeration for dramatic effect, the guy on the receiving end legitimately could have died.
Utter, utter, freak. Saw this earlier this morning and found it a difficult watch.
He should be locked up and the key be thrown away. Only a savage would punch someone repeatedly who is unconscious like that. Rampage should be bloody ashamed.

If Jackson had just punched him unconscious and nothing else, it could plausibly be a mistake - he's an MMA fighter, hes got not pro wrestling experience.... he might just not pulled the punch enough.
But to knock him out then keep swinging away is just pure malice and there's a lot of video footage to prove he knew exactly what he was doing and did it on purpose.
The only person claiming that Stu (the victim) is conscious again is Jackson Sr., with no official source.
Good card last night, some excellent wrestling on display too, one thing AEW seems to have upped their game on recently is the story behind why guys are trying to beat 10 bells out of eachother.
Highlights of the night including seeing Adam "Edge" Copeland in the flesh, he might be old and can't hit a spear to save his life still, but you get goosebumps when Metalingus hits. Obviously Ospreay is a huge attraction, ZSJ and McGuinness putting on a clinic in British Wrestling, but for me the best moment of the night was seeing The Ace Tanahashi before his well earned retirement
They used Tanahashi well in the main event in fairness, his ladder spot was my highlight of the match.
Zack v McGuiness was match of the night. Shame the finish was a roll up.
Swerve and MJF are incredible talents and Kyle Fletcher is really good as well. I'm glad they flew in the man who recently won the G1 Climax to give a nod of approval on the ramp, he's another superstar.
Got some superb shots from the nosebleeds which i can't upload, which is fitting for a post about AEW, they can't get a lot of the basics right.
Best thing about being Excalibur I guess is he can take off the mask straight after the show and in day to day life and no-one is any the wiser who he is
Excalibur is a huge football fan by all accounts. I listen to a podcast called Football Cliches which goes into very niche areas of the game and a comedic perspective on the language used around it. Stuff you’d only really understand if you live and breathe football. Would highly recommend by the way.
Turns out he’s a frequent listener. Not so long ago he started to make sneaky references in his commentary to some of the random topics/phrases in the show. Must have been completely lost on 99.99% of viewers!
The Becky Lynch promo citing Ozzy Osbourne in Birmingham is getting a lot of reaction.
Whilst I’m all for ‘heels being heels’, it did feel unnecessary. There is still a grieving family who buried their dad/husband literally 2-3 weeks ago.
Actually quite surprised that WWE took it that far and delivered it from someone like Becky, who is not a long term heel character.
If this was an MJF promo, I’d expect something like that.
It's just cheap heat. She also insulted the local sports teams and Britain's colonial past, all very dull. The difference with MJF is he has some wit.
All of the 4 horse women are very dull these days, especially compared to the modern talent. Bailey seems to be going through a gimmick change which maybe decent and Charlotte is piggy backing off Alexa Bliss.
Seems Vaquer was flown to Birmingham to do a backstage segment about not having a match on Saturday. 😕
Becky is the best women’s wrestler on the mic of all time IMO. But she’s much better off playing the tough face character which got her to Wrestlemania main event status. Back then she was being talked about as a female Steve Austin for a fleeting moment. It’s criminal that we never got the Becky vs Rousey match that her rise deserved.
Her current position isn’t helped by the fact that she’s been working with the likes of Bayley and Lyra, who are just a bit bland, for an Intercontinental title that isn’t even needed on the show.
That's my point. The 4 of them feel pretty stale nowadays, Becky was super over around that Rousey era and they earned that wrestlemania main event spot. You're right, it just amounted to a fleeting moment Lyra would have to improve to be bland!
In the spirit of internet wrestling fans and their love of arguments, i'll suggest that Rhea is the best on the mic even though i agree with your post! Paige is also very good.
I owe a massive apology to Becky Lynch after my last comment.
Her heel game has gone up massively in the last couple of weeks, and she's actually much better off being tied into the Seth/Heavyweight title picture. Both of her promo segments with CM Punk were brilliant.
As for the return of AJ Lee.....I wasn't watching too much during her last run, but she never really made an impression on me. Seems like I'm in a minority though.
Vague rumours of names on the "list" they want for the matches include but aren't limited to, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, HHH, Kurt Angle, Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock
WM 43 in Saudi. After going back to Vegas next year they really are taking piss
They've officially sold out. Paul levesque has betrayed the homeland fanbase
This is very much a TKO thing rather than anything attributed to HHH I imagine...
The product has gone up in its corporate tendencies a lot since TKO/Netflix, to the detriment of the product itself at times.
Apparently 2027 is the 300th anniversary since the foundation of Saudi Arabia, and they are willing to throw outrageous money to get big events there in that specific year.

Jackson Jr needs to go to prison forever.

"Shall i hold it for you whilst you go?"
"Are you the champ that runs the camp?"

Expect WM 44 to be in Saudi again, or held in Musk's Mars base at this rate
She is good at getting personal with the crowd and she doesn't just follow a script. It is talent.

Fortunately they have monopolised wrestling more or less.
Joke of a decision
