Its a bidding process - where cities bid to try and bring the event over. Whatever London was offering (if indeed they did bid) wouldn't have touched the sides for what Saudi would be offering.

Also saw that WWE tried to encourage the city of Boston to host John Cena's last match for a fee of $7m, but they turned it down - so its going to be Washington DC instead.

Vague rumours of names on the "list" they want for the matches include but aren't limited to, The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, HHH, Kurt Angle, Cena, Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock
Half of that list can't move now let alone in 18 months time

Well at least they're all still alive this time around

WM 43 in Saudi. After going back to Vegas next year they really are taking piss

They've officially sold out. Paul levesque has betrayed the homeland fanbase
I read that in Tony Schiavone's voice!

They sold out years ago. People fly over to these Middle Eastern countries with blood money and you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube now.
  • Bianca spewing propaganda about how great Saudi Arabia is for women, gross.

Shame on whoever put her in that position.
  • CM Punk is under contract and its highly unlikely he'd ever get fired. He's too much of a prized asset.

It would just cause an argument backstage.

He can say whatever he wants.

He should do a promo where he says he won't bother going to the Saudi wrestlemania. Then moans about Dwayne/Paul/TKO selling out and backstabbing the loyal American Christian fanbase.

  • Did he mention Bill Goldberg?

  • If we get a shit ref at boro and a major decision means we drop points

    "the Middlesbrough screw-job"

  • So bloody random.

The excellence of execution holding up the red. What a guy

  • This is our coolest celebrity moment since Dave Berry got rapper ‘Fat Joe’ to hold up a Charlton shirt live on MTV about 20 years ago.
  • I would have sworn blind he was dead
  • The best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be... Not a description of Djimi Traore

That was his brother Owen who fell from a massive height during a match in to the ring . Unbelievably they carried on with the show . That’s Vince McMahon for you .

  • Imagine if after the players have warmed up on a Tuesday night home game.

Out of nowhere Brett harts entrance music plays and he walks out while he's wearing his number 7 shirt and starts waving at everyone.

Security will probably tell him mate I think you've got the wrong ground. You was probably supposed to be doing this at Arsenal, the Emirates.

Yeah and if they do that, they'll get the backbreaker, middle rope elbow drop then locked into the sharpshooter
  • I hope they take the title off Cody tonight, everything about WWE seems really stale

    He's boring.

I wander who John cenas last opponent will be?

Surely it's got to be against the Rock or something of that magnitude.

    Roman Reigns maybe

Drew deserves a run too. He's been one of the best things about WWE for a few years now.

For years Bret was more annoyed with Montreal than the Owen incident, now it's Goldberg. Bret comes across as a very strange bloke.

He'd been their MVP for a while now.

Seth to me is the most stale on the roster, Jey teaming with Jimmy again has eased one that a bit. I've never got Cody to be honest.

I don't think it's Cody's fault as much as everyone seems to be stuck in a rut, there's no creativity.

I've seen it argued the writers/execs are after "moments" that make good clips and can be spread on socials at the expense of actual story. Can't say I disagree.
  • It's weird because a couple of years ago the main gripe about AEW was matches for "reasons" and WWE were really nailing storylines. But then Cody finished his story, and the Bloodline kind of just petered out, then they completely fumbled the Final Boss stuff and Cena's heel turn, and nothing else they're doing is super compelling.
