Just finished the 2nd series of Wednesday. I only watched the first one because Joanna Lumley was being introduced to the 2nd one. I loved it! Totally Tim Burton with loads of nods to the original stuff. Bravo 🖕🏼
Finally finished 'Dark' last night on Netflix - German sci-fi show based around multiple timelines in one small town centring around 4 or 5 families in the town. It's really good and pretty mindboggling overall.
Personally think season 1 was the best season but still had a very satisfying ending for a show that easily could've slid into nonsense sci-fi realms with multiple timelines etc. If you're a sci-fi fan I'd definitely give it a go.

The best thing Netflix has ever shown. Incredible programme.

We started watching this a few years ago but failed to see it through.
Season 1 of Dark was brilliant, especially when you started joining the dots. Towards the end it became a bit too much of a headfuck to understand for me! Might benefit from a second viewing
Anyone else watch the new Field of Dreams last night? I thought it was great. Especially that there’s now a girls team too. The original Preston lads seem to have come on leaps and bounds. Love Freddie 🤩

Not entirely new but watching Only Murders in the Building. Currently on season 2, which I’m finding even better than series 1. Really enjoying it and 5 seasons in total

A great watch - Freddie is really inspiring.
Just finished watching the series - really enjoyed it. Some great characters amongst the kids.

Finished the second season and the twists kept you guessing till the end. How can a light hearted American comedy who done it be so much better written than any of the ITV dramas we get like the bay etc.
Just late to late to the party finishing Dept Q, weird mix of totally ridiculous and very formulaic clearly with a rookie art director with a big budget but Matthew Goode is Blumming great in it. Never come across him before from memory but a cracking performance I thought so will forgive it’s idiosyncrasies and look forward to season 2
I love Slow Horses but what’s the one a week thing all about? I thought the whole point of streaming services like Apple TV is that you get all episodes in one go.
Final series of Brasic started today. Watched the first episode and it looks like it is going to be a good finish. Farmer Jim dropped a classic line within 5 minutes 'as that c**t from Mork and Mindy said, when he got the twats to stand on desks in that shit film....carpe diem'

Paramount+ have been doing this as well. Last series of Dexter and Mobland were one a week.
Disney+ also drip feeding Only Murders in the Building.
Pisses me off as the whole point of streaming (imo) is a series binge.

I watched the last episode of the last series last night in preparation.
I love it. For me one of the bits of telly for years.

Absolutely loved Dark, incredible viewing. I agree that Season 1 was the best, it got a bit messy towards the end. The creators have also made another show, "1899", which is also good but not as good as Dark.
I've found plenty of good German TV since moving over here, Murder Mindfully is one of the best.

The French do fantastic drama. The best in Europe imo.

Might have to give it another go.
Also been watching the new Andrew Lincoln and Ewan Bremner thing on ITV - Coldwater. Slightly ridiculous, but Bremner plays a very good psycho.
The dad, the boy and the episode 3 therapist deserve the most praise.
so many names in it as well
we binged the last 3 just to get it over with.
I'm now only there for the interaction between Gary Oldman and anyone he shares a scene with in the hope he farts at them
