A ridiculous situation, but then nothing surprises me in football anymore. Apart from the owner, how much is this down to Edu?
For Forest, it should have been Edon't.
The guy spunked millions at Arsenal, & will probably get the nod to do the same by the Forest owner, when he has hardly been a success.
Nuno, a great job, but I do feel he may have been a bit too vocal in public. Was he angling for this? Who knows.
I read that part of the reason Nuno went public is because him and Edu fell out because Nuno wanted to sign Adama Traore and Edu rejected it. They've also signed some players Nuno didn't really want.
Problem is that Marinakis employed Edu to not just be in charge of Forest transfers, but his whole football group so there was probably only going to be one winner there.
Not convinced it's a smart move though, any Arsenal fan will tell you Edu wasn't good for them and how things have improved since he left and the new guy Berta came in.
Feels like one that's been on the cards for a couple of weeks. Even if Marinakis can get Ange or Jose this feels like a massive mistake.
Ange would be good but Jose is a busted flush
Tbh I only mentioned Jose because the thought of him working for Marinakis would be highly highly entertaining. They'd be at each others throats from the first press conference.
Nuno to West Ham when Sullivan and Brady realise Potter isn't going to work? Then again I don't know if anyone can make West Ham successful under their ownership
Postecoglou agrees deal with Forest. Time to dump the Forest keeper and defenders and get those attackers into my Fantasy Football team.
He just finished 17th with Spurs, and looked utterly clueless and completely out of his depth. Terrible appointment. 6/1 available for Forest relegation looks very generous.

Yes they finished 17th but this doesn't tell the full story. They had tons of injuries and he quite clearly (and rightly) prioritised the Europa from early March onwards.
Vicario only played 24 league games, Udogie 24, Romero 18, Van der ven 12, Richarlison 13. Only 3 players started more than 24 league games so it was all a bit of a mess.
It's no coincidence they were all back for the Europa run in and they won it.

Yeah I get that, although Richarlison was mostly useless when he was available. He's totally inflexible tactically though, and you have to have an extremely talented squad to get results with the style of football he wants to play. Time will tell.
Pete O’Rourke is reporting Zidane to Fenerbache which is mad. Always assumed he was waiting for the France job but if he wanted to do club coaching he could easily have landed a bigger job

Be interesting to see Ange try and play a high line with Milenkovic at CB. The attacking options might be quite fun though with Anderson,Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi, Mcatee , Ndoye etc.

Ange would be good...
It'll be good to watch an Ange team without the emotional interest in it.
Yes, he was unlucky with injuries but playing such a high line, with no cover in front of it, left players running on empty. The number of hamstring injuries we had in his time was ridiculous and that can't just be down to bad luck.
When Ange-ball works, it's great to watch. When it doesn't work, it looks beyond horrific.
I'll always have a soft spot for Ange because he (somehow) won the Europa (with the worst Spurs side in an awful long time, which to a degree is down to him!) and I really hope it works out for him and he proves everyone wrong... but christ, you wouldn't want to play a high line with Forest's two centre backs.

Bottom six this season and fatso lives to regret it.

She's been out of a job since Friday ...

Does seem a very odd move though.
