Look at your phone and see what the emergency message is. After that it's up to you whether you want to take action (probably a good idea if it's a warning of flooding or a wildfire) or not (there not being a lot you can do if the Russians have for some reason launched a bomb right at South-East London).

I was at the airport awaiting a lift when it went off. Was oblivious and thought people had got stuck in the lift. What a racket but good to be aware I suppose.
Can take 15 minutes to get around the networks, it’s never been designed for when the bomb goes off, it might be sent if say, intelligence says a threat is likely and prepare
The three phones in my house all went off between 3 and 3.30. Hearing stories of phones going off now. Guarantee that if you go to bed and it ain’t gone off, it’s going off in the middle of the night 😂

So if a bomb dropped at 3pm I would be blissfully unaware
