    It is in footballs interest to get players playing and for Clubs to be able to recruit the players they want. 
    Only when the Prem and the other elite leagues have done their business is it known who is surplus. It just makes sense to allow a modicum of time for that to be sorted.

    Or go back to the old days as I said earlier & have no transfer window.

    I’m surprised Fofana would reject Celtic, whose window shuts later, unless our deal was signed, sealed and delivered.  
    Otherwise he’s burned his bridges (or didn’t want to sign Celtic at all.)

    Or am I clutching at straws
