    UPDATE: Chelsea striker David Datro Fofana has turned down a move to Celtic.

    It’s understood he has agreed to join Charlton Athletic on loan.

    The club have submitted a deal sheet for the player and are trying hard to complete the move in time.

    There is now balance left and right, two players in Bree and Edwards who can get up and down the line, happy with the defensive three and there are options in the middle of the park, we need Godden back and find an attack that works.

    If a deal sheet is submitted why is it so hard to get it completed? Is there some slow moving old Doris at the FA having to hand write and sign off every deal?

    Only a handful of deal sheets are randomly chosen to be processed.

    I believe so. As long as the deal sheet was completed between 5pm & 7pm then you have until 9pm to then get the deal.done.
