Out of interest, who from the first 11 would you have played today ahead of a 12:30 kick off Saturday?
Would've been nice to go into the break with it 2-1 and potentially be able to give a few starting players 30-20 minutes to win the game.

Wins breed confidence, continues to build fitness and gives us an opportunity to get a decent tie in the next round and make a bit of money hopefully. For me this is a case of all eggs in one basket with no regard given for anything else.
But we lost in the First Round last season of this competition, and still got promoted?
Not really sure what your point is?

Forgive me for wanting my team to be competitive, and looking to win every game.

Maybe some on here are to used to the losers mentality we’ve been accustomed too in recent years that this is acceptable.

As others have said, if we go and roll over to QPR on Saturday, tonight looks even more ridiculous.
No it doesn’t. All starting 11 will have fresh legs and a weeks rest ahead of a massive game and won’t have even been at the ground tonight.

Saturday’s result will have nothing to do with tonight’s game as they’re all at home resting

I make that 10 home grown on the pitch now.
    Eleven actually I think.
No, Tanto is still out there
    You wouldn’t know it .

Launched into our box, Rylah tries to counter, Mbick loses it in the middle of the pitch.

Last 5 minutes + added, we're leaving it a bit late for the comeback...

None of them. Type of game we would have lost a Leaburn in to another injury.
    Exactly

Your whinging about winning breeding confidence blah blah blah, but we lost in the First Round at this stage of the competition last season, and it did us no harm.

What bit about that did you struggle with?
To be fair, after going out in the first round of the League Cup last year it took us almost four months to kick-start our season.

Honestly don’t understand why so many people care about a cup we have zero chance of winning, are we so desperate to be pumped 6-0 by Arsenal in the third round? We’re playing the u21’s to see how they shape up against a League One side.

I can’t believe our fans in the ground are mockingly chanting “we’ve got the ball… we’ve lost the ball” etc to a bunch of academy boys trying their best.
You carry on not understanding Elliot, the rest of us will carry on wanting our team to win every game.
I also want the team to win? Just won’t wet the bed over the second round of the Carabao Cup.
I wont wet the bed over it but would rather we werent dicked by a not particularly good League 2 side with that millwall reject in charge

Re-read your first paragraph, you might understand why someone might think you don’t.

The big positive about this game is that at least all of the Academy players or many of them are getting a game

What about the FA Cup in 2018/19 when we rolled over and lost at the Valley in the Second Round against a team, that I've got a feeling, we went on to beat in the Play-Off Semi-Finals?

On the plus side, we tend to bounce back after such a rubbish performance.. so hopefully it just means we go into QPR and utterly thrash them

Cambridge launch the ball into the box, Mbick doesn't deal with it and it comes off AMB for a corner.

So you’d prefer we played our first team players to get one over Neil Harris?

    Crap team selection

    Crap performance.

But no complaints from me if we beat QPR on Saturday.

    Apart from Tanto's haircut.

I’m not whinging, I’m giving my opinion.

What happened last year is irrelevant to tonight.

May as well get Reid on for Tanto so we can have an academy 11 for the last few minutes

Tanto taken out on the edge of their box but the ref gives nothing, Mbick tries to muscle his way through but Cambridge block
