Just seen Fukuda's Kyoto Sanga sweep aside FC Tokyo 4-0 to go back on top of the J-League. Chasing their first ever title. No way he's leaving before it's settled in December.
I should hope not. Perhaps I misunderstand, but is it not a question of signing a pre-contract with us nowish, then continuing to play until the end of their season?
If they play through the summer, it must be bloody hot and humid in Japan?

That’s most likely but the original link was that we wanted to loan him now

Just looked up the Tokyo forecast for this week, and the NIGHTTIME temperature doesn't drop below 25 degrees
To work out a player’s transfer value you simply estimate what Katrien would have got for them then multiply it by ten. Using this model I would say that Ramsay is worth £15 million.
Had lunch with a friend who works in the agricultural chemical industry and he told me this - you take the players European shoes size, take away how tall they are to the nearest foot (rounded up or down), plus their career goal tally, then simply add £1m for his nut.

Just like where I am living and for the last four months too. For this and other reasons I am getting insufficient sleep. I just hope it does not affect my posting. I would not wish to post something less than 100% sensible and let this board down.
The short football season here in the Dominican Republic is in the summer. I used to watch local games but the heat is now intolerable.
Throw this out there .. expect a reaction but given his performances since April to today should we cash in on TC while his stock is still high ? and get a better player with championship experience ?
You are a hypocrite. You attack him after every game and give him low marks, but now you say "'his stock is high", meaning the football profession in general rates him highly, along with most of our fans. How come you are the only one out of step?
It is not impossible that we sell him at the end of this season, but it would be for double what we would get now.

Yes, it's a killer, but they mostly kick off at 7pm after the sun has gone down.

Adding to what you're saying, if we were to sell him end of season, I would hope it's because he's become the next Eze and a big Premier League Club have put in an offer we can't turn down. We'd be looking at least £10 million if that were the case, preferable than a League 1 club come in because he couldn't cut it at this level.
I reckon the boy will come good. He's 20 and played 3 games in The Championship; Jones believes in him which is why I think he leaves him on the pitch, despite looking knackered with 15 mins to go, improves his fitness as the season continues so he can produce the sort of magic he did at the back end of last season from minute 1-90+.
A hattrick of goal contributions against Millwall and all will be forgotten

I still can’t see it happening. Financially both Palace and JRS will have much better deals on offer than what we would put together. Yes I’m sure he’s still mates with some of our squad and looks back on his time fondly, but realistically I just can’t see it happening
How about we make them a special one-time only "peace in our time" offer, where we forgive their previous sins, agree to stop taking the piss out of their supporters, and pledge to stop calling them "Stripey Nigels", in exchange for JRS....
Couldn't care who's minutes in the team it restricts if you have a chance of getting a quality player you take it we are in the business of staying up and improving every year maybe we can buy him next year after a good spell who knows.
Also shouldn’t be restricting Apter’s minutes as well.
Restricing apters minutes 🤣 jrs is a top champ player and could be the difference between us staying up or not, they can rotate/compete for the position it’s fine
Also shouldn’t be restricting Apter’s minutes as well.
If apter would want to get in the team in that scenario he’d have to play and train better than any other player in his position. I know it’s crazy for us, but this is literally how the football side of a club should be run - every signing is a possible improvement, competition for places etc.
If by some miracle we did sign JRS, I think we’d end up slotting him in like this. Think the main issue would be that Apter would probably be less effective as he’d have to stay out wide as JRS would be operating in the space he likes to cut in to
Or you play JRS as the left 10 and get him to use create width rather than cut in (which might not necessarily play to his strength but he’s both players in)

Ramsay = £36m (£52m with add ons)
