Here’s how our U21s line-up for today's clash against Fleetwood Town: MacLorg; Hobden, Laqeretabua, Ewens-Findlay, Enslin; Gough (c), Mwamba, R.Reid; Rylah, Mbick, Lock
Subs: Woodham, Hunter, Brown, Safa, Casey
Looks like a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1, a move away from the 3-5-2 they often used last season. Suits Rylah and presumably Lock having wide forward/winger roles.
Interesting Reid appears to be used centrally in an attacking midfield role. Out of necessity, a chance for him to learn by playing another position or where they see his future?
Wales, Sol-Loza and T Reid are also missing as well as Max K.
Would Casey benefit from a loan? Even to National League for a month or two.
It could be good for him to be tested physically, showing he can be a reliable hold up or link player dropping deep in men’s football could only help his chances. I don’t doubt his ability to score goals.

I think any player of his age would benefit. He's 20 in December so it's not as if he's fresh out of the U16s. I don't really think the club are going to learn anything more about him, from him continuing to only play U21 football.
