Millwall can probably get away with it against their next league opponents

🔢 Here’s how our U21s line-up in this afternoon’s PDL2 fixture against Crewe Alexandra U21s: MacLorg; Hobden, Ewens-Findlay, Laqeretabua, Trialist; Gough (c), Safa, Amissah; Rylah, Sol-Loza, Reid

Subs: Hardy, Washington-Amoah, Tagoe, Kuczynski, Hunter

Game is being streamed, kick off 1pm.

Anyone know who Hardy is? Could be a sub GK as he’s named first in the subs.

I’m guessing the trialist is Ben Sheaf, a left back who was previously with Southampton who’s appeared before.

Slightly surprised not to see any first team names. Wondered if Bree or Fullah would have got some game time, maybe it being away scuppers that idea

Yeah meant more not at SL/The Valley. I don’t think we definitively know if Bree is injured still or not, I haven’t found an updated since 8th August so he may well be fit again

Someone on X has pointed out no Mwamba too, NI clearly rates him highly

George Hardy is the unknown sub. Looks like he is/was with Wolves. An 18 year old GK.

I assume he’s signed as the left sided trialist couldn’t be named.

0 - 1 and looked like keeper at fault but lost the ball in midfield and allowed their player to run length of pitch.

    3-1 to Crewe.
    Questionable refereeing.

Two goals from shots outside the box. Need to do better. Third followed a move with a foul, so I'm blaming the ref for that one. We've been a bit shot shy but got better as the game progressed. Crewe have been lively and direct on the break, they're certainly no team of Charlie Kirks.

Some flimsy defending from us in that first half, although the third goal did look to be a foul.

Lacking a bit of quality in the final third, although we do have some pace up there.

Terry says he and the Greg Stubley are the guest of Bromley Addicks on Thursday.

    Anyone else heard about it?

Know the trialist is Ben Sheaf but couldn’t help think of those not following this thread.

It seems that's a pretty youthful side.

We must stop loaning out our older, more experienced players - otherwise we'll never win the U21 League this season  :p
