Yes. Up to 0.5% is classified as alcohol-free. Guinness 0.0 is zero percent alcohol, so zero beers so exist
Guinness Zero also tastes very much like regular Guinness off draft or from widget cans Not quite as malty/bitter as regular but a very decent pint It’s the only alcohol free beer I’ve ever had a second time Most others are deeply unpleasant, the rest are so far removed in taste from the beer they claim to be, often desperately insipid

I can always rely on Novare Res to roll out a gem on their birthday (17 today, four more years and they can buy me a drink).
Today it’s Cantillon Nath - 5.5% lambic with rhubarb. Sharp, really can taste the rhubarb, and quite a bit of barnyard. One of my faves from Cantillon.
Rebellion raspberry sour. No picture because I was enjoying it too much, but it's as pink as you'd expect. Very astringent without overstepping the mark. Brilliant chilled on a warm day

Rebellion Downfall hiding at the back. Their beer of the month, a truly spectacular bit of brewing. Light but flavoursome, and perfect for a sunny day. This glass is being raised to RM.

I was supposed to be on the other side, but BA cancelled the flight. So I found a way to usefully spend my time. For reference, I’d rank this up with the Trillium/Other Half versions

Must admit, have been let down by Verdant too many times to trust them much nowadays.. Currently drinking the latest 'gold top' from Track which is, as ever, bloomin fantastic...and an Other Half/Beak TIPA collaboration, which was just awesome.... One day I'll work out how to post pics...(otherwise come find me on insta for all your craft beer delights!)...

I am quite boring when it comes to beers. I like the commercial unassuming products that don't do too much but are refreshing and straightforward. I have had some fancy beers recently that taste like they had a bar of soap in them. On the protest in Belgium a few years back, I was introduced to Jupiler. For me it is the best of your straightforward beers, I heve recently returned from a seven week european tour and came back via Belgium taking the opportunity of buying a few crates. My only regret is when I run out and I think I could have bought a few more.

You get a glass inside but on the deck next to the river it's plastic only, though you can take a glass bottle out with your plastic cup. I queried the logic of this with the barman, whose weary reply was "Don't get me started"

Sounds like the barman was not too sympathetic. Crazy reasoning, you'd have thought they'd go the whole way and pour the stuff out of the bottle.
Sporting events, concerts etc you accept the plastic cup but in your situation it is bonkers.........plus to me it does not taste the same.

A very fine local ‘red ale’ to wash down a lobster pizza at the Shipwright Brewing Company’s taproom in Lunenburg Nova Scotia.
The notes on the label are pretty accurate, and on a warm evening it hit the spot despite its dark colour.
