Missed all of this, but why/how were they disrupting the minutes silence? Thats a shit thing to do.
Presume it was a reaction to the Scousers booing the National Anthem.
Ah right...a stadium full off dickheads then!

Liverpool fans disrupting the minutes silence for The Queen.

    Absolute scumbags and perpetual victims.

It’s good they are realizing that their rivalry with Brighton is the most pointless in football. However, do they think they can just manufacture a rivalry with Arsenal or Spurs?

A very successful decade doesn’t mean they’ll give a shit about you either

It’s exhausting reading this stuff sometimes

From what i've read a couple of Palace fans started shouting "Eagles" during the minutes silence, a bunch of other Palace fans told them to shut up, and then there was a fight. The Liverpool fans obviously booed the noise coming from the Palace end and as a result the minutes silence was cut short.

Ah that makes more sense. Embarrassing behaviour.  Every club has a few dickheads though I suppose.

This always puzzles me the way some club chairmen/women talk like they hold all the cards.
If a player doesn’t want to leave right now, he doesn’t have to, right? He’s got a contract. Palace have to honour it. So if Guehi decides to hang on so he can get a bumper payday next year, won’t Palace have to just suck it up?
Presumably, this would be risky for him in case he gets injured or loses form, but still.

Appeal rejected , put in the Conference League
Oh Dear! How Sad! Never Mind!
  • Imagine being Albanian and having to visit Croydon to support your team in Europe, poor bastards
  • At least you can catch up with family.
  • Thats a real shame. Was hoping they'd get booted out completely for a frivolous appeal
  • Wonder how much heat Parrish is going to get now from their fans after doing the poor little Palace act for the last month
  • Annoyingly, still in Europe and more likely to win that one.

Hopefully they don't and it affects their league form.

Hopefully someone comes in for Eze and Mateta before the end of the window and completely screws them over.

Not sure I can wallow in this too much, they’ll probably win the bloody thing.

  • Surely they should be promoted to the Champions League for winning the Community Shield?
  • Maybe next time they should think about submitting an email address to UEFA that gets checked on a regular basis... Although I still don't get how Lyon / Crystal Palace can't take part in the Europa League, but Brondby / Crystal Palace can take part in the Conference League?

I'm not entirely sure on that one either because I thought David Blitzer owned enough of both to make it an issue?

Wiki has him down as owning 50% of Brondby, and 18% of Palace
  • Scummy club
    Scummy fans
    Correct decision

Palaces ownership structure confuses me admittedly. Not sure how all these money men are effectively all answerable to Parrish.

They run Croydon. Not far to travel.
  • Still amazed they're allowed in that seeing as they also have a conflict of interest in Brondby

Apparently its because the Brondby stake is 18% and UEFA require that you put your shares into holding / trust / whatever when they're at 30%
