Why not team tournaments/matchplay/ scrambles etc on the main tour.Golf in this country does have a participation issue and I think it could do better
Oh and bring back a round with Alliss..obviously not him but someone else .Wayne Riley for instance
I often drive past Holtye golf course and you can see 3 holes from the road. Never seen anyone on it and that's between the hours of 12 & 4pm.

Last year was really good and shows the open that maybe there’s a need for change with shotgun starts with play done in 4 hours. Next years open only an hour away next year for me but £300 more expensive than Liv golf this weekend. I appreciate it’s the history etc but the experience to see some of the best at the price is really good! Anyone potentially 50/50 about going then I recommend you do!
That isn't the case though after the cut play starts later and finishes earlier.0 -
Matti Schmid started his round like this today.So not only did he score a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 in his first 6 holes…
In doing so he also recorded an eagle, a birdie, a par, a bogey, a double and a triple.1 -
This could be it at long last. Come on Tommy!!!!0

Fuck off spaun

Oh Tommy! It really has become such a mental block for him. Time for a "sxxx or bust" drive and birdie at the last.1

Sad if Tommy blows this, but if so let's hope Rose wins it.2

Poor Tommy. He's become a bit like a horse that needs blinkers and wins by 10 lengths without actually knowing he's been in a race. I'm sure once he does win a PGA tournament he'll do it a good few times more.
Rose being in the play off, let alone potentially winning this, at the age of 45 and coming so close in the Masters is a testament to the consistency of his swing over the course of the last 25 years. It's much the same with Scott.0 - Sponsored links:

How did those putts both miss.1

Great putt from Spaun to be fair,Rosey needs this....0

That was incredible. Spaun had the read from his two previous attempts but even so it was an incredible putt under that pressure and then Rose was absolutely fearless in his response.0
-
And does0

Hats off to Rose. Fantastic.1

Well done Justin. Great win1

Get in Rosey. 👏🏼👏🏼🎉🏆1

Shame for Tommy (it will come) but hats off to Rosey. Stunning win1

Moved the pin right where Spaun had landed the last 3 times.Well in Rosey.2

My official handicap at that time was 19 so I tried to play every course to that.....or below. Hard when my handicap was based on a 9 hole (Barnehurst) with very short par 4's. Not the same playing Walton Heath or Wentworth !0 -
Robert MacIntyre's finish last night in the BMW was a joy to behold watching it live - final six holes all birdies. Finished 8 under on a course that is anything but easy and where only 14 players are under par.1

I switched channels when they went off for rain, with McIlroy on level & Scheffler on -1. Turned back a few hours later to see that they had finished their round....Rory still level but Scheffler now at -4. Rory needs to buck up his ideas !!0 -

those two monster putts were amazing1 -
He actually birdied the first hole of his second round so 7 birdies on the bounce. He's currently 10 under and 5 clear of the field.0
-
MacInytre finished 14 under and is 5 shots clear of second placed Scheffler - he not only had the best first round score (his best on the PGA tour) but had the joint best second round score. He's also had 16 birdies in his 36 holes in a field where more than half are level par or worse.
