Well, no season ticket received so looks like I’m queuing for a replacement tomorrow morning!0
-
We joke about it a bit but it’s pretty disgraceful that some are yet to receive their season tickets. Why couldn’t they have been delivered by say second week of July to save people all the angst. Something the fan advocates, fan liaison officer should be taking up.15

Does anyone know if the box office opens early today? Usually 10.30 on matchdays but with the early KO assuming could be earlier?

Fair play my plea for relaxation was ill foundedAmos on the wing said:My season ticket did not arrive. Lucky for me my parents are 10 mins from the valley and were able to get a duplicate season ticket. Did not fancy the hassle of getting it Saturday morning1 -
Anyone know what time the ticket office opens today for me to get my season ticket reprinted? It’s usually 10.30am but I assume it’s earlier for a 12.30 kick off? I’ve checked the website.1

Yes it was. Feel sorry for the supporters who have not received their season tickets and have the hassle of having to get to the valley earlier to queue to get a ticket that they paid for weeks some months ago. And that they should have received by mid July at the earliest. Something the club need to get better at going forward.paulsturgess said:

A big perk of a digital season ticket takes all this stress away.LargeAddick said:We joke about it a bit but it’s pretty disgraceful that some are yet to receive their season tickets. According to the Crime Survey for England and Wales 2024, an estimated 78,000 people had phones or bags snatched from them on the street in the year ending March 2024.MartinCAFC said:

This is equivalent to 200 'snatch thefts' a day and is a 153% increase on the number of incidents in the year ending March 2023. London is regarded as the “epicentre” of phone thefts with £50 million worth of phones reported stolen in London in 2024.

Wonder if the club will do an offer for the thousands of non season ticket holders that were at the valley today . Something like buy a season ticket before the Leicester game and get a refund for today’s game1

Doing that already according to electronic boarding around the pitch801912601 said:Wonder if the club will do an offer for the thousands of non season ticket holders that were at the valley today . Something like buy a season ticket before the Leicester game and get a refund for today’s game1 -
We got an email saying our season tickets together with car park pass would be posted 1st class last Friday. (Given the laughable service provided by Royal Mail, this was never likely to be a success.)
We then got another two emails. One said that due to issues we would have to collect said tickets and pass from the main reception. The other email included a pdf attachment with a car park pass for today's match. This included a QR code which had to be uploaded to a mobile. When we arrived I showed the QR code. I got a laugh and an explanation that that was all well and good but no one had provided them with any scanners. Anyway, they recognised the car and let us in. Queued up to collect season tickets and they were handed over. It was explained that the actual car park passes were not ready yet and they would be posted out.
Mrs cafcfan now has two season tickets and I have none....
You couldn't make it up really.0 -

I got to the front of the turnstile queue only to find the reader wouldn't recognise my digital ST.
Held up the queue trying for a couple of minutes, no luck. No steward around so I had to go look for one.
Steward told me to "try moving it around" under the reader.
So I returned to a bigger queue and when I got to the front, although I actually had moved it around first time, I wiggled it about a bit more expansively and sure enough it worked this time.
I did wonder what carnage there might be if everynbody had similar issues nearer kick off time.
But maybe it was just me!

My other team Surrey ccc offer a physical card for membership and do it digitally.
I have to request the card when renewing my membership. But I still get the digital membership, so when I did leave the card at home, and just resorted to my mobile phone and the digital membership.0 -

Surrey so much more professional and well run compared to their neighbours.msomerton said:My other team Surrey ccc offer a physical card for membership and do it digitally.

Ducks for cover.2 -
I collected my reprinted season ticket on Friday as my ST hadn't arrived in the post. The reprinted one didn't work and I had to collect another copy from the ticket office as apparently they'd done two reprints and cancelled the first.
Thankfully I got in on time but it seems pretty shambolic.2 -

All my mates went in on the old school S/Ts.
I tried on the digital and it didn't scan, but I twisted it 90 degrees and it then worked.1 -
Supporters who purchased a ticket to the game can upgrade to a season ticket and have the cost of their Watford ticket refunded as part of the purchase.801912601 said:Wonder if the club will do an offer for the thousands of non season ticket holders that were at the valley today . It was put out over the tannoy on Saturday, I believe. No doubt they will send out emails to ticket purchasers. It’s not a new idea.CAFC_boi said:

I bought a physical paper ticket for my brother and on Saturday he was literally stuck in the turnstile as it did not fully open.
It took a long while to do and redo the laser/barcode thing, along with getting a steward involved and pushing the bars for it to open, much to the frustration of those behind us. The adjacent turnstile was out of action.
Does anybody tour the place before matches to ensure everything works properly?
All of the Curbs stand turnstiles should be operational.4 -
Fair enough - I have a ST so no email for me but I did also purchase 3 single match tickets for my family (one of them hadn’t been to the Valley in over 20 years but enjoyed it so much they want to come back!) - so that’s 3 people who also won’t be getting an email. Just seems too limited a scope.Airman Brown said:

Tbf the club is understaffed and they can’t be expected to do everything at once. It’s a fortnight until the next home game, so the next few days seems reasonable for additional messaging.CAFC_boi said:

That probably rules out anyone in the Lower North, or at least the section where I am, hearing it then…Airman Brown said:
