One more from that era - here's a bunch watching Darren Pitcher and Grimsby's Dave Gilbert getting red cards, on the opening day of the season at Upton Park

Bloodhell didn’t recognize myself at first. But spotted Steve Sutherlands cousin standing next to me.

First time I have seen that photo.

More from the Tom Morris archives - on the seafront ahead of a League Cup away win at Brighton

That's Brian Cassey on the right.

Brian shared a lot of the match photography at The Valley with Tom Morris in the 1970s.  He (Brian) subsequently emigrated to Australia and has a very impressive list of exhibited works and awards.

Brian Cassey Photographer Cairns Australia - Photojournalism & Portraiture

Look hard enough and you'll find some of his early shots.  The Ray Treacy header at Brisbane Road is one of my favourites.

Brian was the photographer at my wedding.  This explains why the family shots feature parents, uncles, aunts etc all on one knee and with arms folded.

the Nescafe boy looks remarkably similar to "Peter Cordwell" wielding the club in the previous photo. Are they anyway related?

Yes, this is part of the Tom Morris archive, which the CAFC Museum team are digitising and cataloguing (it will take years!)

@Henry Irving looks like we need to figure out a sales process and pricing...

    £50 to @Lewis Coaches
    .
If it is in the digital archive we can send via email for a donation.  Otherwise @cafc999 may be able to get it printed.

Getting stuff printed will be easy, all it depends on is what size the buyer wants and if it can be printed at that size

Yep correct.  We spent some good times together in the 90s and before.

Quite possibly the best home and away kits ever in a season, on show in the terraces.
