A long-term museum project is to digitise and catalogue the Tom Morris photo archive - 80,000 - 100,000 Charlton photos we reckon.
Many of the player/action shots will be familiar to many, but often not seen/published before will be pictures of fans. From time to time I'll post one or two. So, starting from that special day on 5th December 1992, who recognises themselves among this gathering?:
I know Ian, 3rd from the right with his hand behind his head.
I’m pretty sure that’s Lee Argent mate. Went to my school.
You might be right mate, I'm shit with names. Haven't seen him for a while but goes to Dartford more now uses a hearing aid?
That’s him. I’ve only seen him at Dartford games the last few years. Known him years.

Yup…..I’m a fellow Old Middle-Parkean.
Blimey long time ago. I’ve been over in Surrey since 94
Here's another photo from the BTTV Portsmouth game.
I've been to about 95 different grounds all over the country supporting Charlton but I could not get a ticket to this game It's still one of my major regrets. I bought a season ticket the following week and I've had one ever since. Of all the games to miss 😢

In those days we were a bit more fussy who we let in.

Can't argue with that. In those days it was probably better to lock me out.
One more from that era - here's a bunch watching Darren Pitcher and Grimsby's Dave Gilbert getting red cards, on the opening day of the season at Upton Park

We were still drinking our pints in The Director General when they all went past 😁
