I really want to go to Bristol.
Anyone in the know about the date & wether it’s likely to change?0 -

Midfielder Lucy Fitzgerald signs on a one-year deal

Deal also has a one year option, wording in the article is poor (no surprise there) and suggests it’s her option rather than the club which seems unlikelyEpsomAddick said:Midfielder Lucy Fitzgerald signs on a one-year deal

It's unlikely to move away from the weekend of 22 March and I'd be staggered if many of the Friday evening kickoffs were selected for WSL2 fixtures. I don't think we know yet how many games will get moved to a Saturday and how many will be Sunday noon or evening rather than the usual 2pm.KBslittlesis said:I really want to go to Bristol.

There's a list of possible Sky slots that games may get moved to on the league website:
https://womensleagues.thefa.com/fixtures-confirmed-for-2025-26-barclays-wsl-and-barclays-wsl-2-seasons/
Specifically for that one game, I'll just point out that City's men are at home on Saturday 21st March and I don't think Sky are powerful enough to get a Championship game moved to make way for televising a women's game. So I think you're safe with the Sunday.1 -
I love you @Swindon_Addick 🙏🏻♥️0

Tickets are on sale for the first two home games, Palace on 7 September and Ipswich on the 21st. Both games are 2pm Sunday kickoffs and as usual all tickets are for the West Lower.
£7.00 adult
£5.00 over-65
£2.00 under-18
Charlton fans are asked to buy tickets in blocks C, D, E & F. Away fans are asked to buy in block G. This is supposedly being done to boost the atmosphere rather than for security so as far as I'm aware no-one will chuck out your Ipswich-supporting mate if they move to our area after they get in. If in doubt ask a steward, I guess.
Season tickets are still available at £45 adult, £25 over-65, £10 under-18. 11 matches for a tenner. Probably more than that because it also includes home league cup fixtures and gets you in half price for the Women's FA Cup.0 -
Anyone who'll be in the Durham area on 14 September and fancies going to the away game, you need to get a ticket from the home club. Be aware that their home games tend to sell out so buying in advance is strongly advised. Tickets are £12 adults, £8 students, £6 under-16.0

We've been drawn in Group C for the League Cup0
-
Feel like we might have an outside chance of getting through that group, certainly not the strongest WSL teams we could have been drawn

2 more additions to the squad: https://www.charltonafc.com/news/zoe-barratt-and-frankie-finlayson-have-joined-first-team
Sounds like 1 was already jointly contracted by us, but has now switched full-time to the first team here.2 -

FA Cup round dates:
R3 14 December
R4 18 January
R5 22 February
Quarter-finals 5 April
Semi-finals 10 May
Final 31 May
WSL2 teams enter at round 3, WSL1 at round 4.
Round 3 should be 28 clubs from the lower tiers plus the 12 from WSL2, the 20 winners getting added to the 12 WSL1 clubs in round 4.
Dates given are the Sundays. Some games, particularly in later rounds, will get moved for broadcast reasons or due to clashes with men's team fixtures.0 -
The club doesn't usually talk much about the women's academy side until the end of the season when it's tie to celebrate their achievements, but it seems there's been an agreement for PGA sides to play in the league cup/plate of the National League (tiers 3 and 4). The format is groups of 4 with group winners and just under half the runners up going into the main League Cup while 3rd, 4th and the other runners up go into the "Plate", which is also knock-out. Group fixtures (all away):
20 Aug, 7.45 vs Watford at Grosvenor Vale (Wealdstone FC)
7 Sep, 2pm vs QPR at Hayes & Yeading FC
28 Sep, 2pm vs Chesham United at Chesham
Watford are tier 3 and were playing our first team not that long ago. QPR and Chesham are both tier 4. Chesham have been tier 3 in the past and I remember the firsts playing them about 10 years or so ago. QPR I don't think we've ever played - the club known as QPR who we played in our National League days was an independent club which has since folded.1 -
Totally missed this one but looks like Beth Roe, the last of the players that rejected a contract offer from us has joined Ipswich.0
-
Thought I'd look to see where those we released have gone:
Mel Filis - Sassuolo (Italy)
Sophie O'Rourke - Sheffield United
Fran Stables and Katie Godden both look like they're still without a club at present.

I was surprised to see our old friend Freya Godfrey has gone permanently to Not Millwall. She was very highly rated at one time0

They really are, there's some very Wrexhamy signings in the likes of van de Donk and Parris. I'm surprised Arsenal were happy to let Godfrey go at just 20 years old though, maybe she's not developed as they hoped.fenaddick said:

Still don't know how Charlton curbed her attacking flair. She suddenly started passing back or sideways. A real shame.0
