Was at the Liam Gallagher gig at Knebworth in 2022. Wouldn’t say it was carnage exactly. It was loud, very lively and thankfully without too many dickheads.

The crowd at Oasis gigs this tour is seemingly much better behaved than it used to be.

Whilst it does take away from the experience a bit, the fact that there are smartphones now distracting half the crowd makes a difference. Plus a lot of the people going on the current tour are along for the ride because of the occasion, probably got tickets being swept up in the hype of it all. Lot more women and children I’ve noticed. Whereas before the breakup it was largely lads going absolutely mad.
Spot on mate. I saw them 6 times between 94 and 97 ish.

    Finsbury Park was utter carnage.
I saw them in '02 at Finsbury Park, it was a nightmare
Bloody hell maybe that's the one i was at - I thought it was earlier than 2002 - but you're right.

I thought the Charlatans blew them off stage that night - And BRMC were just as good.
BRMC massively underrated band, both on record and live. Superb band.
  • Have finally bitten the bullet and paid eye watering amounts on Viagogo to be there. Been debating for a while, had a price in my mind I'd go up to and I've gone for it.

Reviews and tales of those who have already made the pilgrimage got me there in the end so thank you CharltonLife for ensuring I can't afford to eat for the rest of the month.

There's a reason why you work hard to earn a few quid and enjoy yourself once in a while.
    You won't be disappointed.

    Heaton Park was Biblical!

Has anyone bought tickets from the resale sights and got in?
I'm concerned about paying a considerable amount of cash for a gig that I may not be able to get in to?
Ticketmaster & Twickets are the only permitted resellers and at face value.
I bought a resale off Ticketmaster and it was in my Ticketmaster account immediately.
  • Going Sunday wembley, best mates sister managed to get a box (Kenneth Williams) from her work, can't wait buzzing.

    Rumoured dates for next year.
San Siro would be a good one as I'd like to go there before it closes. Or Hampden I've never been.
Amsterdam bloody hell they are all tempting

  • Felt like half the crowd at Reading away were trying to get Oasis tickets.
  • There was a banner at the front last night for 2 people who are sadly no longer with us, Will and Carl. Did anyone get any photos of it?
  • After spending hours not managing to get tickets when they initially went on sale, I had convinced myself that I didn’t want to go. Then after the reviews I changed my mind. More hours on twickets trying to get one at face value with no success. Finally had to go to stubhub on Thursday and got one for last night. At £480 it cost me more than my Charlton season ticket, but I’m really glad I did. Felt a bit better when the couple next me to said they had spent £675 each! Great gig with all the bangers.
  • We was there last night.. unbelievable concert, certainly the best I have been to. The atmosphere in the crowd was ridiculous!

With every passing show, it genuinely feels like this is going to go down as one of the greatest tours this country has ever seen. It probably already is.

Have to enjoy it whilst it’s here, because nothing on this scale in terms of cultural impact is likely to happen for a long, long time.
  • Even if it turns out Liam and Noel still hate each other and it was all for the money, this run of UK shows has given people probably the best 2hr show and  atmosphere ever, throw in Ashcroft opening with a few of the best songs of the last 30 years it will be hard to top.

For me, one of the best parts of this tour, is that it’s clear to see that they don’t hate each other anymore. They walk on stage together, hand in hand, every single night - and both genuinely look like they’re enjoying themselves.

That’s what makes all of this so much more than ‘just a gig’. It’s the end of a 16 year feud being played out in public. A true ‘one off’ moment in British music history.

Yes, they stay in separate hotels etc. but that’s probably just a sensible thing to do all considered. And if it was the money that brought it all together, then so be it. The important thing is that they’re back and they’re enjoying performing together again.

It would have been a terrible shame if Oasis had ended the way that it did, with two brothers (and icons in their own right) never talking again.

It's a lot of gigs, but doesn't really compare to Oasis in the same way at all.

Anyone that wants to go to a Coldplay gig & get a divorce will get one…👍

Coldplay call it a conscious uncoupling.

In terms of numbers, yes. But for the cultural significance, the headlines, national awareness - Coldplay could play 20 nights at Wembley and it wouldn’t touch the wider importance of this Oasis reunion in this country.

I've been to many hundreds of gigs and for me it comes 2nd to Stone Roses also at Wembley Stadium, with The Cure 3rd.

Although I agree in terms of significance it's top.
  • Was there last night too. Unbelievable atmosphere - sound system was great and crowd were nuts

Yea true, suppose being away for 15 years does that. I was at their Wembley gig in 2009, great show but for some reason i've not been that bothered to get a ticket this time. Listening to Acqueise now though, what a banger..
  • It's down to personal opinion, but to me Black Sabbath's final concert with the line up they had and Ozzy's death a couple of days later has far bigger cultural significance.

Out of the two bands one is miles ahead in terms of significance to music than the other. The other couldn't crack America.
  • Still some knobs heads chucking their plastic beer cups in the crowd.
Were any of you last night singing twist and shout on the way to the station…I also head we hate Millwall near the station.

I must admit I was quite loud singing you are shit Millwall to Wonderwall.

    Great night but knackered today.

Spot on. Sabbath created an entire genre. Influenced hundreds of bands and were phenomenal musicians.

Versus a great band of their time ripping of Melodie’s lyrics and riffs from others, very cleverly, but stealing all the same.
