The crowd at Oasis gigs this tour is seemingly much better behaved than it used to be.Whilst it does take away from the experience a bit, the fact that there are smartphones now distracting half the crowd makes a difference. Plus a lot of the people going on the current tour are along for the ride because of the occasion, probably got tickets being swept up in the hype of it all. Lot more women and children I’ve noticed. Whereas before the breakup it was largely lads going absolutely mad.Finsbury Park was utter carnage.
I thought the Charlatans blew them off stage that night - And BRMC were just as good.5 -
Have finally bitten the bullet and paid eye watering amounts on Viagogo to be there. Been debating for a while, had a price in my mind I'd go up to and I've gone for it.
Reviews and tales of those who have already made the pilgrimage got me there in the end so thank you CharltonLife for ensuring I can't afford to eat for the rest of the month.

That was honestly the best gig I've been to, sound was great, atmosphere was great, so many people like me with their teenage kids getting to feel what we did first time round, my son said it was the best night he's ever had and that made all the missed ballots and not getting codes worthwhile.

My son has got us tickets recently for next month at Wembley, didn’t pay a fortune, said to me when. It was Father’s Day, there you go dad, there’s your Father’s Day present.
Originally, Bless him, he’d spent 8 hours on his phone, the day we played Reading away and lost 2-0 , as we got into Readings stadium, he said I’m in dad, got into the bit where they showed Wembley, and found out he hadn’ t got tickets, so I was pleased more for him, as he’d persisted, and persisted.
Reading that day was a bit rubbish, but like Charlton, we got there in the end.6 -
Felt like half the crowd at Reading away were trying to get Oasis tickets.2

Went Wembley last night, absolutely brilliant, everything I hoped it would be. Had deliberately avoided reading anything about it in advance, so didn’t even know the set list.Vocals were better than expected, visuals great, crowd absolutely amazing. Still buzzing this morning.20

After spending hours not managing to get tickets when they initially went on sale, I had convinced myself that I didn’t want to go. Then after the reviews I changed my mind. More hours on twickets trying to get one at face value with no success. Finally had to go to stubhub on Thursday and got one for last night. At £480 it cost me more than my Charlton season ticket, but I’m really glad I did. Felt a bit better when the couple next me to said they had spent £675 each! Great gig with all the bangers.4

With every passing show, it genuinely feels like this is going to go down as one of the greatest tours this country has ever seen. It probably already is.Have to enjoy it whilst it’s here, because nothing on this scale in terms of cultural impact is likely to happen for a long, long time.3

Even if it turns out Liam and Noel still hate each other and it was all for the money, this run of UK shows has given people probably the best 2hr show and atmosphere ever, throw in Ashcroft opening with a few of the best songs of the last 30 years it will be hard to top.4

For me, one of the best parts of this tour, is that it’s clear to see that they don’t hate each other anymore. It’s the end of a 16 year feud being played out in public. A true ‘one off’ moment in British music history.
Yes, they stay in separate hotels etc. but that’s probably just a sensible thing to do all considered. And if it was the money that brought it all together, then so be it. The important thing is that they’re back and they’re enjoying performing together again.It would have been a terrible shame if Oasis had ended the way that it did, with two brothers (and icons in their own right) never talking again.3 -

In terms of numbers, yes. But for the cultural significance, the headlines, national awareness - Coldplay could play 20 nights at Wembley and it wouldn’t touch the wider importance of this Oasis reunion in this country.Kindoncasella said:

It's down to personal opinion, but to me Black Sabbath's final concert with the line up they had and Ozzy's death a couple of days later has far bigger cultural significance.
Out of the two bands one is miles ahead in terms of significance to music than the other. The other couldn't crack America.4 -
