Coldplay and Oasis should never be mentioned in the same breath let alone on the same thread
Lol. I'm well aware of that.
my mrs and her mate have 2 oasis tickets for next sunday - neither are big fans and would sooner see coldplay but won't give me or her mates hubby - or our sons for that matter - the tickets - gonna be like a mini transfer window this week with negotiations
Why would they buy the Oasis tickets in first place then?
coz their women and women suffer more from fomo

Now that pisses me off, a very good one for the things that annoy you thread.

Even Coldplay fans would rather go to an Oasis show than Coldplay

I've given up hope now and will try for Knebworth when it comes round, which will no doubt be absolute carnage and full of knobheads lol.

They should rest after the tour schedule and organise another one next summer.

People on the database who previously purchased tickets are restricted or last in the que.

£70 is a fair enough price. When it rises to the 300/400 mark, it's not really worth doing.
Seen rumours they might do a run of gigs at the Etihad next summer. Couldn't do anything there this year as the Etihad is being expanded and having a hotel built next to it.

Also rumours they might do Knebworth as next August is the 30th anniversary of their two nights there.
Went on Saturday night - best gig I've ever been to. A mate of mine is going tonight and knew of the tour before it was confirmed through contacts. Spoke to him today and he said that the rumour is six nights at Knebworth next year

if you are in the front 2 blocks of either side of the stage seated you can just walk down the stairs to the pitch plenty doing it on Saturday

Knebworth would/will be absolute carnage, far easier to manage a crowd in a stadium.

Was at the Liam Gallagher gig at Knebworth in 2022. Wouldn’t say it was carnage exactly. It was loud, very lively and thankfully without too many dickheads.

The crowd at Oasis gigs this tour is seemingly much better behaved than it used to be.

Whilst it does take away from the experience a bit, the fact that there are smartphones now distracting half the crowd makes a difference. Plus a lot of the people going on the current tour are along for the ride because of the occasion, probably got tickets being swept up in the hype of it all. Lot more women and children I’ve noticed. Whereas before the breakup it was largely lads going absolutely mad.

I am pleased to hear there are much less dick heads..... I am going out to Toronto so expecting even less.

TBH it is no surprise - every has grown up since they were last together.

I went last night as well and couldn’t agree more.  Cast and Richard Ashcroft were on great form too.  Probably the best natured crowd I have ever seen at an event.

As I think Liam said at the end “avoid Knobheads” which is probably one of the most important rules in life as NJ concurs. 😀

What a brilliant night. Only real disappointment was Cast only doing 30/35 minutes. Fantastic support from them and the legendary Richard Ashcroft - got tickets this morning for his O2 gig in March next year.

And then all the hype was totally justified. Just a brilliant night from Oasis 🙌🏻

Bloody hell maybe that's the one i was at - I thought it was earlier than 2002 - but you're right.

I thought the Charlatans blew them off stage that night - And BRMC were just as good.

Has anyone bought tickets from the resale sights and got in?
I'm concerned about paying a considerable amount of cash for a gig that I may not be able to get in to?

Bought from Viagogo on Saturday afternoon just before the gig, while sat in the garden of The Green Man, which was also significantly quieter than the last time we were there… also know mates that did the same using Viagogo for Cardiff and Wembley.

Don’t know of any issues, get an instant transfer ticket if concerned.
