-New flood lights, although don’t think they’ve gone in yet
    - new Digital Advertising boards - which may or may not be on the operations HQ box - around the pitch and upper tier hoardings
    - brand new big screen, which looks as if it could be rectangular rather than square
    - presumably some funky light show effects too if MaxMaze are involved
    - solar panels on roof (and Ops HQ box possibly) at somepoint

Seems a lot is going on at The Valley. Lots of ‘licks of paint’ too
I believe also there is a plan in the Curbs stand to put in handrails along the aisles due to the steepness of the stairs
    You’re correct!
CAST lead on this, leading the operations team at The Valley to research ideal ways to install without blocking the steps. Believe they settled on ‘P Rails’
Decided after 31 years they are too steep.  Hmmmm.
As the fan base gets older, less mobile and eats more sugary products than ever before 🤣

Shock revelation - Younger, still physically mobile men and women who don’t give a second thought to their surroundings, weight or well-being (choose if/as appropriate) get 30 years older and often/usually see those surroundings from an entirely different perspective 😉
  • As someone who sits in an aisle seat they had better not obstruct my view.
You will have to stand up for your rights!

    Nicely done.

Didn't the FA or FL ban such designs a few years ago? LIke they haven't got more important things to worry about.
  • With steep stands a handrail is, if anything, more important when going down. With crowds surging down the stairs, it's very easy for people to trip and fall.

    different kind of balls innit?
  • I think the FA banned designs where there the main lines across the pitch weren't straight across, as it would be a nightmare for linos judging offsides.

God that looks fucking awful, I hope I never see that on a football pitch in this country
