We lost Small, Chuks and Watson and three other fringe players so six out. We have brought seven into what was a small (pun intended) squad.
Taylor and Ahadme appear to be injured and/or out of favour so that is eight down on last year, Fullah is great but still very young, Kanu and M'Bick may go out on loan, Reid is only covering for the injured Mannion.
We also need nine subs so if anything we are still two to four short.
If we accept Taylor and Ahadme are gone that's 25.
If we consider M'Bick and Kanu might go loan that's 23.
So that's enough for the first X1, 9 on the bench + 3 in the stands, and I haven't included Fullah, Dixon or Enslin in any of these numbers.
Plus of course we will definitely make at least a couple more signings, so i certainly wouldn't class our squad as small.
If we have a keeper injured then we still have 2.
Couple of knocks and suspensions are a given, but the numbers above already have 3 players sat in the stands each week anyway.
Plus we are going to make more signings.

Someone check on Linfieldos and his son. He won’t be a happy man after seeing that rumour.2

Nobody should be guaranteed.
The best player for the particular match should play.6 -

ShootersHillGuru said:Gutted if Ramsay left but I think we need to be asking a minimum of £7 million come January. Realistically he’s going at some point and I’d like to think / expect that his leaving would fund a couple of signings of very decent quality. It’s all about squad building window on window but the sad reality is our top talent is always going to be cherry picked. Was ever thus.3

Somewhere in the middle would be more realistic if he has a good first half of the season.6 -

Swisdom said:not seen a huge amount of him but Fukuda certainly looks like he could fit in with the physicality and power here in the EFL
The other goal I saw him score was from a high press where he nicked the ball about 30 yards out, nutmegged the last defender and then squeezed it past the keeper. He certainly appears to have decent attacking instincts and a terrific engine
I think he has already excited the fan base and let's see what happens in January.
If Fukuda can emulate one of my favourite Japanese player's then I would be ecstatic if he joined CAFC ?
Honda, who also had a great engine 🤦🏻♂️0 -

He fits the criteria of what we're looking for. Young, potential to improve and if we can sign him for £2m now he'd be worth £5m come the end of a very decent season.
Can't see him getting near to Spurs' first team once the league action starts.2 -

Seems we are under no pressure to sell anyone. The board have given new contracts, rejected bids in previous windows (TC), invested 7m...
I can't see us letting Ramsay go now. I am convinced he will adapt well to the Champ, which will double his value in 12 months.5 -
