Thought that was Keiron Trippier for a minute.
"Hi, do you do bespoke player reveals ? I might just have a job that is right up your Strasse'
  • Comms had a mountain of material to work with for that announcement and they went with some freaky dad son shit.

Anyway, he better be good I feel like I’ve spent 2.5m with this one.
It would have been far too easy to do what everyone was expecting😂

I know there is still a way to go in the window but not many clubs have had a better window than us so far

think we've done some great business - but this one would probably be the icing on the cake

This is one I'm not that convinced about. Wouldn't be surprised if we've had calls with Barnsley and not doubting his qualities as a player but all the stuff about his family all being based in Middlesbrough and him not really wanting to move away just gives me a few doubts.

Surely we don't have the funds to get Keillor-Dunn now would be absolutely delighted if we pulled it off

I still think another 3 but last couple might not be until the end of the window.

Think 3 more would do it nicely , CM on loan from a prem side wouldn't surprise me next. Striker I wonder if that might run late in the window and need Ahadme out the door.
  • Rumours are working out this year...loan signings next week ?

There'll no signings announced until they return from Slovenia...

Doesn't mean they haven't been done, just they won't be announced until the comms team are back.
I will just leave this here 👍🏻

Yes but it was @RonnieMoore who told us he wouldn’t be flying out to join the squad in Slovenia 😂

I think there is still more to be done but it's going to be quiet for a while yet. Once the new players are fully integrated and may pending a few outgoings (planned or otherwise), the squad will be reassessed to see what the priorities are and who's/what's available.

I think it'll be 1 or 2, looking at our squad. Which suits me. I'd even take 0 more if it guaranteed no outgoings (apart from Ahadme and youth loans)

2 Prem Loans and 1 more Permanent.

    LWB cover for Edwards
CM option (Donley would be perfect)
    Striker (to replace Ahadme)

What comes in now all depends on the shape NJ plays. Can’t watch on Saturday but assuming it will be closer to what we will see against Watford than last weekend due to player availability. However, if we do play one striker with two 10s behind I can’t see us bringing in another striker

    1. Enslin? TC?
    2. Maybe. We have quite a lot in the position now though and I think Anderson is poised for a breakout season
    3. We have more up front than it may seem. Any striker we bring in has to be significantly better than say Mbick

Not to clutch at straws but why does it put it to bed. He’s not come out said it’s a no go, just not one he’s heard about

It's a tricky one to really judge and probably depends a bit on outgoings and a bit on where NJ sees some of these new signings like JRC and Apter playing.

I don't think he'll move down here if his family are settled up north

In terms of loan talk, wouldnt mind nyoni (cm) or rio (lw) from liverpool.
