Kieran Maguire has noticed that Robbie Savage has left the board of Macclesfield, suggests he’s off to FGR I think
Really surprised at this. Part-owner at Macclesfield and they're building something decent there, getting really good attendances, have flown up the leagues and absolutely walked the Northern league last season.
And he's giving that up to manage a club who've had 6 managers since 2022.
Literally 3 months ago he said "It's not about money for me. I'm probably the only unpaid manager in the league. It's not for money, it's for the journey."
Understandable if it wasn't for the ownership part though - Forest Green have a good chance at promotion and then hes a league manager, it's more of a foot in the door than promotion to the NLN etc.
Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti has been sentenced to a year in prison by a Spanish court for tax evasion - but he will not have to serve time in jail.
The former Chelsea and Everton boss was accused of failing to pay 1m euros (£830,000) in tax on his salary during his first spell in charge of Real Madrid from 2013 to 2015.
He will avoid prison but does have to pay a fine of 386,361.93 euros (£333,045.92).
So Hendrik Pedersen managing an effectively an U21 side?
They said they managed to play 22 players at the weekend & a lot of the names looked familiar so I reckon they must have at least 50/50 first teamers / U21's.
Apparently 16 players left who are classed as first team, of which 1 is Bannan who doesn't have a contract. Only 11 of the 16 players left are over 21.

No manager, no backroom staff, no players they could be in a bit of trouble. (understatement of the decade?)
The North Stand(to our left when looking at the pitch) has not been given a safety certificate, that'll probably mean the stand closed for a while and thus a reduced capacity, more money lost.

And there's Robbie Savage confirmed at FGR

Just hope he gives up 606, a potentially interesting programme that he's ruined over the past few years
He's bordering on looking like a human baked bean.

I said before Pierce Charles would be decent but not really needed. Bernard is injured I think.
