Deadline Day from Pg.641 - Summer 2025 Charlton Athletic Transfer Rumours
Comments
-
Apparently a 16 year old lad fell over before the game and a group of drunk Charlton fans shouted "Wheeey" and that's the only thing I could find on twitter...Uboat said:If anyone knows any Orient fans, please ask about this vile behaviour because I’m intrigued. My experience seems to have been the same as a lot of other people’s. Done really nice lads in replica shirts on the train on the way there. Then after the game, some dickheads trying to start aggro then giving the game away by singing ‘I’m forever blowing bubbles’.
Also apparently the lad had a grazed elbow and it spoiled his day.
Not the result, simply a "Wheeey" spoiled his day.5 -
I had a busy week. Fill me in on the meat and potatoes I'm lost ?
Also adding a rumour from a friend at Chelsea that we are trying a loan deal. Sorry no more details but I'm trying10 -

Probably not us because of the transfer fee required would make it unfeasible but Phil Chapple would know Patrick Agyemang as Luton had a $4m bid rejected in January.... Strong pacey striker who's just broken into the US National team setup, would fit NJs style of striker that he likes.8 -

Go back and read the post match comments for the away game at Brisbane Road on March 1st to see what is being referenced ie the behaviour from a number of Leyton Orient supporters towards the CAFC bench (verbal abuse, spitting, throwing objects). Hopefully/ probably not representative of the majority of 'Os' fans but still pretty vile stuff from a minority. Met some very decent ones after the play off final game but that doesn't excuse / mean the moronic minority doesn't exist.CAFCDAZ said:
Im so glad I'm not the only one totally baffled by this. I actually bumped into a LO Fan, his daughter and dad at South Mimms services on the way home. We had a chat about the game whilst waiting for food and everything was very pleasant, even when leaving the ground etc, so really keen to hear what was so vile?? 🤷🤔Uboat said:If anyone knows any Orient fans, please ask about this vile behaviour because I’m intrigued. My experience seems to have been the same as a lot of other people’s. Out of contract at the end of the year so will have to sell this summer if they want anything.MarcusH26 said:https://www.givemesport.com/tom-bogert-mls-transfer-notebook-agyemang-market-heating-up/

NB I thought I read a while back it was because we sang something that offended him, perhaps The Adams/Orient family?0 -
Give them some money and send ahadme out there he would be the best thing to grace the MLS since George best and Messi.PWADDICK said:

Spot on but just change many to anyScoham said:
Smaller club than Orient? You could debate all day how big we are vs other Championship clubs and the bigger clubs in L1, but if you ask any fan of other EFL clubs Orient are bigger than us and you’d struggle to find many that would believe that’s the case.AberystwythAddick said:
They’re either extremely deluded or this is someone taking them for a ride 0 -
So good reason to believe Chapple still fancies him now, and that his price has come down since January due to his contract situation.MarcusH26 said:

I think that so called Clapton Orient fan should lay off whatever he is taking, some of the bullsh!t in that post could be used as material for a standup comic routine.DA9 said:John_Fitzpatrick1 said:
If being competitive, outnumbering, outsinging their fans and celebrating promotion is vile behaviour, then I’ll take that every season thanks.
Going on to say Orient are bigger than us is the ultimate proof that this guy probably had rabies before taking all thise mind altering medications. I guess every forum has one of these penny whistle loons on it somewhere.1 -

But Luton had parachute payment money. You might always be prepared to push the boat out more if you've got money burning a hole in your sky rocket. I doubt if Chapple thought he was worth 4m...PWADDICK said:
