Some of you will have seen pictures of my eldest cat here before. I'm devastated to say that I had to have him put to sleep this afternoon after he was run over this morning. Words can't convey how much of a hole this has created inside me. RIP to the best cat who ever lived ❤️

RIP to your cat, it's very difficult to put into words when our little furry friends pass away, sending much love, I have loved and lost , but remember the love you have given to your cat and the quality given to him/her.

Horrible decisions we have to make on behalf of our beloved animals @leroyambrose but be comforted that you can and save any further or unnecessary suffering.

So sorry for your loss. People without cats often fail to understand why we are so attached to them. They really are special little beings.

He was a lucky cat to have you there for him.  RIP

Been a busy week one way or another, Reading dog Tuesday and Wednesday before briefly doing a meet and greet with the parents at sports days on Wednesday and Thursday which due to the heat was restricted to no touching the dogs and we were gone in ten minutes back to the car and home.
A bit cooler today so we met up with the SEN children At forest school for 30 minutes before the children requested the dogs appear in their school photos.
This delightful young lady asked for photo after the recent sponsored walk in the school field and told us that she has walked with our dogs every year since joining the school in year one, now in year five we decided to honour her achievement by putting this photo onto canvas, she has been disabled since birth and walks with difficulty, but is never seen without a smile and kindly word for the dogs when she sees them.

Edit………. Hopefully she’ll enjoy her little gift.

My dog is gonna be really cranky again today, he's a real creature of habit so after I did the bins this morning (which of course he supervised as usual) I took him for an pre 8.00 walk to avoid the heat. I am now fully expecting him to "forget" this early walk, and for his body clock to still expect another one (as per normal) about 10-11 ish, and will have him sulking when he don't get it. I got major grief yesterday when his afternoon walk, became a cooler evening walk, but no doubt he will in future now expect an evening walk too. They don't list this as a consequence of global warming!- I blame the Chinese, or Trump or Putin......someone!

Aalborg Zoo is looking for donations of healthy chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs that trained members of staff will "gently euthanise" and will be eaten whole by predators like the European Lynx, lions and tigers.

Chickens and Rabbits are nowhere near big enough to satisfy a Lion.

I suggest we donate Palace fans instead.

Lions are fussy what they eat.

    I'm in need of councelling...

We moved house from Petts Wood to Westerham 4 weeks ago today.  We kept the cats in until Friday but one of them has gone awol after the first hour of being let outside.

Its been over 72 overs since we've seen young Kit-Kat.  My daughters are absolutely distraught as he used to sleep on their beds when they needed comforting and he followed them around and his Mum & Brother.

We've got neighbours opposite us and either side but we're pretty much surrounded by fields.  I've walked the main footpath/bridlepaths around us with no joy.

Feel gutted for Kit-Kat, feel heartbroken for the girls when their face drops when they ask if he has come home.  I feel guilty as hell as I made the decision to finally allow them outside.

The wife and I are resigned to not seeing our handsome boy again, absolutely gutted :(

    Need a miracle now!

Everything crossed for the return of your lovely cat, JohnBoyUK.

We've never had a cat as a pet but I'm sure there's lots of advice out there from others who've  found themselves in a similar position .

Put photocopies of the cat on lamp posts, outside shops.

Hopefully will get to reunited with the lovely cat.

Wouldn’t give up hope yet @JohnBoyUK. One of our cats went missing for a week once and we finally got a call from someone who’d found her a mile away. Stick up some posters, ask people to check sheds etc. If you haven’t done so update the database of the microchip firm used so when found he’ll be returned to you. Good luck, hope Kit Kat is home soon.
