Cameron Green isn't a number 3 in any conditions let alone when facing one of the best quicks in the world.2
-
I'm hoping the Aussie's are in a spot of bother with their batting lineup. Khawaja looks miles out of form , Marnus isn't an opener and Green at 3 is bizarre. But they aren't really producing the talent either opener wise unless they're going to take some big gambles.1

Not a good look when 24 wickets have fallen for less than 400 runs and could be over by lunchtime on day 3.0
-
The Tasmanian Devils are 66-60
-
Haven’t been able to watch this. Is it good bowling, bad batting or both? It’s an extraordinary amount of wickets to have fallen so quickly0
-
73 for 7
Love watching the convicts struggle1 -

That decision by SA not to review Webster's LBW when he was on 8 (and went on to make 72) could end up being the difference between winning and losing.0

In a game of small margins, how can SA bowl 20 no balls. That's 18 more than Australia bowled albeit that they have only been in the field once to date. It's all of their seamers too which suggests that they don't worry about the line in practice either. Michael Holding will be apoplectic.0

144-8 and a lead of 218. Australia favourites but tomorrow's conditions might be totally different.0

I guess they wanted a wicket that would produce a result and they have over done it.

SA having a bit of a mare here. Got Lyon out early but the 10th wicket partnership are adding runs. Lead is over 250 and Hazlewood has 10. Starc on track for a 50.0
-
The pitch now looks very easy to survive on.1

This is proving to be an absolutely fascinating Test match. And we're into a phase where the more runs Australia score, the more likely they are to win; but the longer they bat, the more likely they are to lose.
No doubt that will confuse some; but it's one reason why Test cricket is the best format of the game.3 - Sponsored links:

Partnership and Starc both reach 50. Lead is 2750
-
Markram gets Hazlewood. All out for 207 and a target of 282 set0
-
Very considerate of the Aussies to get out just before lunch so that the hospitality areas can eat on time2
-
What a partnership between Markram (102*) and a hobbling but gritty Bavuma (65*)
213-2 and just another 69 more to win tomorrow morning1 -

What a day for Markram, he got the final Aussie wicket today as well. He looked emotionally spent by the end!2 -
That's why betting is a mugs game
Chasing the best part of 300 the Ausies were odds on to win.
I stopped betting many years ago.0 -
Two wickets this morning, runs at a premium, a tense finish!0
-
Well done to the Saffers. What a strange pitch, but S Africa called it right by wanting to bat last.0
-
Really really good chase from the South Africans, fantastic knocks from Markram and Bavuma.
Will be interesting to see what Aussie side starts the first Ashes test because their top order looks very unconvincing.0 -
