I feel like Lewis going to Ferrari isnt going to be the masterstroke akin to when he jumped from Mclaren to Mercedes - Instead it was him jumping before the new kid kicked him out

I think the Ragazzi in Maranello will be praying the 2026 spec cars are a reset for them, they've just gone backwards in this latest era, to think 3 or 4 seasons ago they had arguably the fastest car they were just let down by engine failures and a couple of moments of inexperience from their drivers, now they can't even get out of Q21

It was always likely to be a heart (or bank account) over head move. It’s Ferrari and this is pretty much what they do. Even if Russell had got alongside, he'd have been on the outside coming out of the chicane, there is no way he'd have got ahead of Piastri0 -
