    Just a reminder that ST seats are now to be released on Wednesday so there’s no point logging in at 11am tomorrow

    I clicked into them regularly - they never re coloured them but were very much on sale - and sold

    Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking. 

    If only they had something like a fans liaison, or a supporters club (or more than one), or maybe even a fans Trust ....... and a telephone!

    We were given 36,918 tickets in 2019 - initial allocation was 4 tickets per 18/19, 19/20 and VG member then to those with 100 points again with four then on general sale where those who’d already purchased could buy again upto 6 in total or 6 from general sale

    Birmingham took 43k for the final this season. Seems to be the max they could offer. I think all the extra tickets were in the top tier. 

    Anyone who wants a ticket in the lower tier at Wembley would need to buy one ASAP as they will go immediately. Top tier tickets won’t be as much of a demand.

    I’d like to like and lol this. Like because yes some haven’t read the instructions properly or not realised their seat is greyed out as it’s reserved for them but also lol because the link provided by the club is ambiguous and the ‘here’ you have to click wasn’t a different colour, or highlighted or underlined or anything. But in general I agree there has been a degree of panicking seeing as seats are held until 11am tomorrow. Seeing as the game is Thursday week I do feel the club could have held seats for at least a further 24 hours and I don’t agree with fans being able to buy up to six tickets.
    I know “here” wasn’t in another colour, maybe it should have been. But it did say “click here” in the English language and, if you did indeed click here, you were taken to the page showing your ST seats. 
    Except when I got in at 11.30 yesterday that box definitely wasn't there.
    We were told to look for the reservations but there was nothing showing.
    There have been untold separate things wrong probably more than 10 and yet people are digging out the fans (not you).

    Yes fans that haven't read the instructions are at fault, but not the majority that read the instructions and were provided with no links, then unclear not working links, no warning even now as far as I'm aware that the majority have only been able to purchase using safari, having to incur more fees by doing separate transactions, having to buy adult tickets as couldn't buy kids tickets, having to sit separately as couldn't buy all S/T seats that were linked and on and on and on....

    No one can be happy with our not fit for purpose ticket system if they have an awareness of the tens of failings in this awful system.

    I believe it was a league game, possibly against us. But I can't search the charltonlife archives on my phone. Someone will be able to confirm!
    Why would Stuwall a S/T holder be trying to buy his seat again?
    It must have been a cup game.

    we didn’t even have 15k in 2018 for the Shrewsbury home leg
    We had 14,367 that day apparently. Wouldn't surprise me if it was less.

    Initially, but more were released from hospitality. The final figure was circa 40k, but we didn’t quite sell them.

    The map continued to show them as black, which also happened when the west ones were sold on Saturday. But they have definitely been sold.

    But clicking direcvtly on 'here' was'nt working for quite a few people i.e. those using Google Chrome. Chrome is the worlds most popular browser so it affected a large number of users. Not having this tested before it went out to the general public is very poor. 
    Well I used Chrome yesterday to book, so no need to test it.
    Well, not one person on this thread have said that they managed to purchase today via chrome (don't know if anyone did).
    Everyone that commented on their browser success said they had to use safari, including me and all my mates.

    Waited for the unused season ticket seats in prime locations, which will be available at 11am on Wednesday. I just wanted to resolve the agony of waiting.

    It was the league game against us. He was trying to buy a few seats together and was told his seat was taken (by his own season ticket) and he couldn't work out what was going on.

    Actually re-read that thread earlier on, it's comedy gold.

    Maybe controversial but I think for the play off match ST holders should only be allowed to purchase 1 ticket, not 2.

    Main reason being that most ST holders will want to purchase their own seats and in many parts of the ground there isnt a spare seat next to them. Also, iirc, many moons ago (probably in the Prem days) when you had a ST book there were half a dozen or so "cup" tickets at the back that you could use for certain cup games. No need to purchase special tickets, just rip out "cup match B" & the jobs a good 'un. 

    There might have been progress in some areas but I think going back 20 years & having that system now would have alleviated 99% of today's problems.
