  • Pleased for him . Let’s hope he gets another next summer
  • Good for him, would probably have preferred to win it on the pitch next week (he was suspended for yesterdays draw with Leipzig) but beggars can’t be choosers!
  • Crazy for a player of his ability, scoring record and age to have just won his first trophy.
  • At least we now know when the world will come to an end...

5 seconds before Harry Kane is due to receive his medal
  • Absolutely delighted for both him and Big Eric as I am for all of our previous players that go on to win something...

...which is almost all of them who leave these days...
  • Well done Harry.
  • Excellent, very pleased for him. Great player with so many personal awards and records.  I reckon he joins Liverpool this summer and gets the PL title to add to this.
  • Finally won a trophy in 2025

I don’t doubt this at all.
I’m pretty sure I remember you lot were very happy for one of your old boys - Nayim - when he won a trophy in 1995…
    😉

Sol Campbells 2 Premier League and 3 FA Cup medals for Arsenal being a particular highlight amongst many
Beat me to it heh heh

  • Harry Kane finally gets want he deserves. Ok, it was a surprise when Bayern Munich didn't win last season but his goal scoring record is out standing and unusual for a net buster, his passing ability from all areas is top trumps as well.
  • Remember reading a while back that Kane has a clause in his contract that means he can return to an English club for a very fair price - can’t remember if it comes into effect this summer or next. If it’s this summer and I was in charge at Liverpool, I’d do everything to get him - they’d almost certainly retain the league. Hopefully not though, can’t have them scouse c***s winning it again.

"There is said to be a release clause in Kane's contract that can be triggered by teams in England during the summer of 2026 if they are willing to pay £54 million".
  • he wins a proper medal at last, but still scant reward for one of the best English footballers of the past fifty years (at least)

At least that rules out Wrexham.

That's quite a high price, considering he'll be 33 by the start of the 26/27 season.

It is fairly high but he's not exactly a player that relies on pace, so even at 33 he'd probably still be worth it.

Salah is 33 this summer, and i'm sure clubs would pay 54m for him.

    We wouldn’t.

I hadn't realised that Teddy Sheringham's first major trophies were in the United treble season, aged 33. Another player to leave Spurs to win things.
  • If 33 is the lucky number; step forward Matty Godden 👏🏼

I had this conversation about your last few managers the other day! They seem to be faring far better than the club they left behind.

Antonio Conte - 1st in Italy (with Stellini)
Jose Mourinho - 2nd in Turkey
    Nuno - 6th in PL
    Poch - struggling with USA
Villas Boas - 3rd in Portugal (he's president not manager)

All that makes me think they should stick with one manager, but maybe not the current one...
