How on earth has Dave Challinor not made that list over either Jones or Wellens?!11

            Player of the season shortlist

I think because of what Wrexham are doing (and who they are owned by), people forget that Stockport are also newly promoted and actually came up as champions. Media definitely don't give them and Challinor the recognition they deserve.RC_CAFC said:How on earth has Dave Challinor not made that list over either Jones or Wellens?!10 -
So much wrong with these nominations.
As above, where the hell is Challinor?
Mat Sadler in there when Walsall are on the verge of one of the biggest promotion bottle jobs of all time and a lot of their fans want him sacked.
Nathan Lowe in there when he hasn't played in the division for half a season.0 -

The BBC has used the headline "Parkinson nominated for EFL award" to relay this news ffsstoneroses19 said:Manager of the season shortlist

Bloomfield and Selles would have been strong L1 candidates if they hadn't moved on.2

That is an article from their Wrexham/BBC Wales section to be fair. There’s a broader one toocafcnick1992 said:

100% jeopardy: Every Championship team can still go either up or down

David Artell or the Cowley brothers not being nominated in League Two is madness.stoneroses19 said:Manager of the season shortlist

The Championship is definitely the most exciting league for the neutral, as the teams are so well matched. Even the poor teams are usually much more competitive than those in other leagues.PrincessFiona said:https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/ckg1y7ddrpxo100% jeopardy: Every Championship team can still go either up or down

The lunchtime game between Derby and Luton is such a key relegation clash. A Derby win, and Luton will start to look cut off.0

Agreed. It's not quite a must win for Luton as they have 2 home games next, but it's definitely a must not lose to avoid being cut adrift.killerandflash said:The lunchtime game between Derby and Luton is such a key relegation clash. I disagree completely. The league table I posted above shows how the teams are definitely not ’well matched’ and ’more competitive. ’ Just look at the points difference between the top teams and the rest. What you say may be true from about 8th to 24th position.killerandflash said:

Derby look absolutely woeful, 1-0 down to a team below them in a crunch game and they are playing 5 at the back. If anyone thought our pitch was bad, take a look at theirs! Hope they get relegated, they were crap last season too!0

Must be something about Derby, as their pitch at the Baseball ground was awful.cafc_se7 said:Derby look absolutely woeful, 1-0 down to a team below them in a crunch game and they are playing 5 at the back. Fair play to Luton. Every player to a man fighting for every ball. I think they'll stay up.0

Huge win for Luton, given themselves a chance and have (for now) sucked the likes of Hull, Stoke and Portsmouth back into it.1

Burton drawing with Exeter, could do with them picking up a win and getting themselves safe before the final day1

Most of the other strugglers other than Stoke have tough looking games today, so the perfect way to put pressure on them too.Chris_from_Sidcup said:Huge win for Luton, given themselves a chance and have (for now) sucked the likes of Hull, Stoke and Portsmouth back into it.0 -
Derby v Luton was pure league 1, so they’re both ready to come down.1

Away from L1, Carlisle leading leaders Port Vale 2-0 is a crazy scoreline1

Bristol Rovers fans seem pretty pissed about the Wrexham equaliser, felt it should have been ruled out for handball1

There's a surprise.ForeverAddickted said:Bristol Rovers fans seem pretty pissed about the Wrexham equaliser, felt it should have been ruled out for handballDo Wrexham actually score without a penalty, handball, or assist from the ref.3
