    Slightly concerned about Millwall now.

After thinking they had no chance of the play offs, they nick a surprise win at Sheff Utd and Middlesbrough lose at home to Leeds. Millwall now 3 points off 6th placed Middlesbrough and on Saturday they are at home to..........Middlesbrough. If they win that they are right in the mix as they then face 3 teams with nothing to play for.

Massive added time equaliser for Luton keeps Stoke within catching distance

It was the most dire game I think I've ever witnessed. Absolute dross.

    Worse!
Stoke's last five games are Cardiff, Sheff Wed, Leeds, Sheff U and Derby. They could very easily go down.

Surely they'll be screwed if they are relegated (unless Coates wants to invest like Birmingham's owners to get them back up as a stronger side).

An article from Keiran Maguire said they've lost an average of 675k PER WEEK since being relegated from the PL. And in that time they've finished 16th, 15th, 14th, 14th, 16th and 17th. That's a lot of money to tread water.

I hadn't noticed that Derby drew against Burnley. A great point for Derby, but 2 points dropped for Burnley.

Burnley's 29th clean sheet of the season. 1 away from equalling the all time record.

As long as Cov win their game in hand tonight (Portsmouth (H)), Boro’s league position is a bit irrelevant 👍

This. Even if we did make the play offs (and it’s a big if) I couldn’t see us winning them.

No, it’s next season I’m excited about. Alex Neil has been a revelation since he came in and with another transfer window, and a full pre season behind him, I think he will only improve us.

And also, I think the last 18 months or so has shown us that young James Berylson has all the passion for Millwall as his dad did and is in it for the long haul. Plenty of people was hoping that wouldn’t be the case but as the old saying goes, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. We’re in good hands. Onwards and upwards 🦁

    Millwall in the Premier League…
….and you thought Southampton had a tough year. The Lions would set new records.
Alex Neil has done a fine job though. Especially selling a key player and using the money to buy several new signings. As we’ve experienced with the likes of Parker, that often doesn’t turn out well.

I reckon that's Birmingham promoted now
Touch and go for a while but they've snuck in there against all the odds to get promotion.
Completely unforeseen that spending a ton sees a team comfortably promoted, almost can't believe it.

Oh it would be a bloody bath. One win and a few draws if we was lucky lol

but it would be fun. We’d make it so. Our expectations would be so low. But a chance to tick off a few new grounds, renew a couple of old acquaintances, and just have a laugh. Go back down with a much healthier bank balance, and hopefully don’t do a Luton.

It's one of those seasons where the 3rd place team will end up finishing 20 points ahead of 6th, but could still lose to them.

If the 3rd place team is Leeds or Sheff Utd then that's very likely; if it's Burnley then no chance.

I can imagine the media meltdown as " nasty old Millwall" go to the golden elite of the Prem. There are a fair few of the elite that would not fancy a trip to the New Den.

Coventry with a 94th minute winner against Portsmouth.

Means Millwall are 5 points off 6th now.

I wonder when the Wigan player will be sent off?

I'm going for the 36th minute for the red card, and the 47th minute for the penalty to Wrexham.
