    They are bloody lucky.
Every week they seem to get a helping hand or a very late goal.

Yesterday, for a laugh, I tried the League One predictor on the Grimsby fans' website, TheFishy.

I put us down for four wins and two draws (Wycombe and Wrexham) and had us finishing one point behind Wrexham.

That is one hell of a crumble from Walsall. Weren't they 19 points clear of second at one point?

    Elsewhere ...

Burnley beat Cov to go top of the Second Division, Leeds draw at Luton to stay in third.

I'm looking forward to Leeds just missing out on automatic promotion, preferably to a last-match, last-minute goal conceded by them or scored by a rival, and then capitulating in the play-offs ... again.

Happy to be corrected, but I think the best they’ve been was 12 points clear on New Year’s Day.

So only a reasonably large collapse instead of a monumental collapse ... they'll feel much better now.

The way things are going, Burnley and the Blades could have sewn up the automatics by then anyway, Leeds have gone off the boil badly.

Sheff losing at Oxford wasn't in my predictions...

Burnley have to play Sheff Utd in a couple of weeks so despite them currently being 3rd, Leeds do still have it in their own hands.

Edun's second red card in  a few weeks didn't help them though.

  • Huddersfield vs Wycombe on SkySports+ tonight.

Be tough but hopefully Wycombe go a third game without a goal
  • Huddersfield you're fucking useless... Should be 1-0 up inside a minute!!!

I'm not sure I want Wycombe to lose. At this point I just don't want Wrexham getting 2nd.

0-0 would be ok, not sure I want Huddersfield finishing the season on a roll
  • Is anyone at the game... the atmosphere sounds so flat!!

Birmingham seem to have sprung a leak of late, after so many clean sheets.

Orient losing. If they lose that is them too far behind us no matter what.

    Reading being outplayed by Shrewsbury.
