Cambridge [a] Tickets now on priority sale (SOLD OUT)

@TelMc32 got me a ticket today, he’s picking up from the ticket office, he said he would try to assign it to me.AFKABartram said:Tickets acquired. If you try and buy two tickets and assign one to a person not yet at the priority point, it doesn’t allow you to. But does anyone know if you can retrospectively assign the ticket to them or once they do meet the category?
My son had 15 points less than me, will be going to games but for both Wycombe and Cambridge now I can’t assign the points to him, so his points will just never increase despite attending the games.0 -
System should have allowed me to allocate to you though, as you have VG and I got them in the 2pm slot. System obviously not quite right to allow that.guinnessaddick said:

If you both have the relevant points & both in VG it could have been done but in separate individual transactions.TelMc32 said:

I’ve given up with the assigning thing
Managed to get an adult and a child for Wycombe but had to buy 2 adults for Cambridge
I was slightly panicking probably unnecessarily that they would run out at stage 50 -
I always buy tickets over the phone.
Whenever I buy a couple they always allocate the points to myself and the other con.number.
I've never tried by email though.1 -
I'm in the same position, getting mates to get me tickets with theirs so we've all got tickets together.paulsturgess said:
yes, you can, i did this recently for Birmingham, Crawley and Stockport - called the box office and asked them to allocate the 2nd ticket I bought for each to my mate's membership.AFKABartram said:Tickets acquired. If you try and buy two tickets and assign one to a person not yet at the priority point, it doesn’t allow you to. Would do it after the sale stages have all expired though.1 -
You’re entitled to 2 tickets, you saying it wouldn’t let you buy one as a child?Southendaddick said:I’ve given up with the assigning thing

I bought 1 adult and 1 U140 -
I would have gone down there in person to do it @Clive but I think the young lady is still in trauma from the number of tickets/games you bought for yesterday!! 😉😂clive said:guinnessaddick said:

ouch .. hope you don't work with saws, other sharp things or molten metal .. always amazing though what one can do for loveChippycafc said:
I have done a Friday night shift, gone to the valley then gone straight back to work that means i have been about 36 hours without a sleep. Takes days to get back in tune. And the weekend premium alone pays for my season ticket.Lincsaddick said:Chippycafc said:My 12 hr nights weekend so that's that. x
.. Did a lot of w/e 12 hour shifts back in the day .. terrible for the social life, BUT in my case the shift allowances were a big consolation. Hope the same applies to you

I am not going to Cambs
She was told by the T O that Cambs seats were sold out, and Wycombe tickets were nearly all gone. Mr X called me to confirm that I now had a Wycombe ticket and he passed on what the T O had told Mrs X about ticket sales .. full story, if that's not enough, f*** yer and have a nice day

so, if one person turns up at the ticket office with (say) 3 mates' ID, or season tickets, Valley Gold numbers etc etc, would he/she be able to buy the maximum 8 tickets ? .. I appreciate this couldn't be done online or by phone. (equally t b h, I doubt that my hypothesis would work either) Just interested to knowCovered End said:

Yes, it could be done on the phone or in person at the Ticket office but may involve more than one transaction/payment.Lincsaddick said:

I thought it was implied that I was talking about in years gone by.1 -
I'm not certain what you are asking, but yes we have been buying in person or over the phone in years gone by for say 6 of us if we all qualified.Lincsaddick said:

It is very common for the ticket office staff to talk utter bollox regarding how many tickets are sold.Lincsaddick said:

good sales technique .. 'buy now cos tomorrow they'll all be gone', or perhaps my contact got the wrong end of the stick .. whatever, as I typed above, I should know better than to pass on info of which I have no personal experience/proofCovered End said:

That’s good information! I’ll try that. It used to annoy the hell out of me with jnr that, even tho’ we always went to all games together so had same points, I couldn’t use VG priority as I wasn’t able to assign ticket to him because he wasn’t in VG - he was U18 so not allowed to be in VG!!!!paulsturgess said:

Now, because of shift work, he has dropped ST but does more aways than me - and I still can’t assign a ticket to him if I buy them so he misses out on a number of points each season he should really get.1 -

We normally grab a cab in town and book them for a return from outside The Hour Glass. I’ll probably travel up from B’stoke with PaulM so if you see us jump aboard ;-)Chippycafc said:0
