Bit pingpong at the mo, and eventually Small's offside.

Gillesphey has scored more goals this season than Tyreece Campbell (!)   :o

  • Just need to be a bit quicker on the ball - TC was just holding it up on half way and had a few chances to lay it off, but ended up losing possession.

Another Ramsay to Small chase, he gets the cross in, but there's no-one near enough.

TC seems to get isolated sometimes, with no support...
  • Can Barnsley really keep this press up into the second half?

Got to be honest. We’ve been very poor since about the 20th minute.

Just seem to be lumping it to Godden. We need to play through Coventry more.

Coventry over to Edwards, first time pass to TC, cuts it back, but Doc can't get to it.
  • Oh shame, that was a good move but TC's ball to Docherty just had too much on it.

I have to say that Barnsley are the better team. Their passing is better....quicker & slicker. Always seem to have options & men in space.

I have a feeling this is going to be the opposite of Saturday.

Ramsay on a run up the right, pass to Small who steams past his man and puts a lovely far post cross in, unfortunately it's TC under it, and he can't outjump his man

Must not start second half slow like Saturday

Can see Gilbert coming on for Berry second half...
  • We know that Barnsley fade late into games based on the goals conceded. That might not mean too much in this one off game though.

I think we've edged it without being spectacular

Campbell getting pulled all over the place but still gets up, unfortunately Godden can't control the pass, and the move breaks down.

We are so wasteful when we get in / around their box. We really only have 1 attacking threat in TC. Small & Ramsey do really well but then let down with a poor cross.

    Keillor-Dunn is a decent footballer isn't he?

That was the sort of first half performance that we had when we weren't getting the results. The fact that we've been on a good run and are winning tonight sort of offsets those feelings that we have been rather average in the main. However, I would hope that NJ has a "quiet" word with the boys at half-time.

He's still better than most of the Sky commentators.
