Kayne Ramsay just interviewed - says he lives 6 minutes away - felt like he was playing at home.23

Poor sod21

The application of the side to keep going and going and going, an absurd amount of late goals for us this year now, credit to all involved after minimal rotation since Christmas too
We are very much on our way!5 -
Orient fans calling us one of the most physical and robust teams they've played this season, and not in a dirty or underhanded way, just a physically strong outfit that bullied them all game.
Such a good thing to hear after having years and years of powderpuff squads unable to see out games108 -
That’s the kind of result that breeds a belief that can put a team on a long winning streak ! 2nd place not out of the question7

Pratley by name, Prat by nature.
Anyway apologies to my dog who I woke up with a cheer as that Ramsey header hit the net.

Pratley is just the sort of player you want if you're in a bottom half scrap/relegation battle, which in fairness is probably what Orient expected this season, but when you're pushing for promotion? I wouldn't want him as a regular starter2

We do have a strong bench these days and it showed today12

Should’ve probably been out of sight by halftime, but when does this club ever give us an easy time of it?
We need to get more ruthless with our finishing and turning openings into clear chances, but that is probably the last piece of the puzzle and we are still winning while we figure that out.
To go there and create so much is hugely encouraging.Once we got the first I had a feeling we were going to win it, somehow. You just can’t have that many clear sights of goal within 10 yards of the net and not put at least one away.
The late goals have happened too often now to be fluke and I now go into injury time confident there is always still time for us to get one more big chance. I might be willing to call this the fittest Charlton team I have seen and by extension that’ll probably be the fittest Charlton team ever, seeing as I started watching when a fry up and 10 pints were still considered acceptable pre and post match meals.Given the top 14 were all playing each other today I expected more sides to drop points than did so it turned into quite an important win even aside from it taking points directly off Orient
A late turnaround like that is one of the best feelings there is and it’s the highs like that keep you coming back through all the shit. This one will keep me going all week. I hope everyone else here gets to savour it too.17 -

Such a good thing to hear after having years and years of powderpuff squads unable to see out gamesWe’ve had (on and off to be fair) a team of light weights for a long time. It’s so nice seeing us be physically dominant so consistently. Teams can’t handle us14 - Sponsored links:

I really think this could be our year.
Let's be honest, we weren't at our best today. Strong defensively and competed in midfield but were well off the pace in the final third. We miss two absolutely golden chances to score, then get two rare goals from set pieces. Kayne Ramsay has his worst game for us, misses another huge chance, then pops up with the winner. The Football Gods are smiling upon us.
The team spirit is simply amazing. We never give up. The number of late goals we get is a testament to our mental strength as well as our physical fitness.
We have probably left ourselves with too much to do to get second spot, but the likes of Wycombe, Wrexham, Huddersfield and Stockport will be looking over their shoulder with some alarm.13 -
Jones deserves plaudits for the subs... went for it and got it bang on31

What a win! Fuck all you moany lot on the match thread. Depressing and some of you are just happy whinging! Keep faith with these boys!5

When you get a chance watch the winning goal and the celebrations after.
a brilliant moment where TC is shushing the orient crowd and cupping his ears whilst walking backwards, only to fall over a prone Ramsay!Top stuff40 -

Considering how clueless our set pieces have been in recent years, it's a delight to see a Charlton side threatening from corners once again.16

Was sat right behind the dugout. Our bench enjoyed that one after getting all kinds of abuse after the Orient goal. NJ was even spat at. Unbelievable result, great corners from Gilbert, what a feeling!11

I was watching Sky this afternoon whilst my son was watching it via a dodgy stream with his mates in his bedroom.
I heard a bit of noise from his room at the same time as someone on here (won't mention any names @ ForeverAddicted) said we'd equalised....but then Sky confirmed we hadn't. Then heard more noise from my sons room & Sky confirmed we had indeed equalised. Cue then complete pandemonium from my sons room (on the floor below) and I guessed we must have scored. The score came up on Sky & they went over to Sam Abasaki who confirmed we had indeed scored the winner on 90+7.
Shame we couldn't get tickets but hopefully might be able to get some for Wrexham and/or Wycombe. Long way to go before then but let's just say we are in a better position than we were earlier.7 -

Its why I hesitated so much when I saw on there that we'd got the winner, even the equaliser0 -

Such a good thing to hear after having years and years of powderpuff squads unable to see out gamesExactly this. If the team buys into Jones then result like this happen. It took longer than perhaps he would have liked, but that is because we have been a shitshow for so long. Now we can see what he can create. My brother in law a lifetime Luton fan told me the same.Brick walls .. Nathan Jones... He can take us back to Div2 and if the owners can find some money even further.1 -
Amazing, amazing, amazing finish!
I don’t want to overdo it but that’s the sort of thing a team does when it’s serious about promotion,
Took me a good 30 seconds to celebrate the equaliser, I was certain the ref would rule it out!57
