Not strictly EFL league match but Peterborough have defeated Wrexham on penalties in the EFL Trophy. So there will be no Hollywood Wembley Final.
  • And they came back from 2-0 down after Dobbo had scored the 2nd goal.

Great pens too with Jed Steer the difference in the P'Boro goal.

Might the Mighty Wrexham be on a downward trajectory ?

    We can but hope..

Bad news, I was hoping a Wembley final would detract from their league form.

I'm thinking that having to play Sunday, Wednesday & then Sat at 12.30 then Wrexham might be a tad worn out. They might also be feeling a bit deflated having been 2-0 and losing then they might not be at 100%.

Bolton could easily win and leapfrog us & Orient before our match kicks off.

Losing out could be a bit deflating for them but they should bounce back quickly with an easy set of upcoming fixtures

    Just watched the highlights.
Wrexham fans singing (Que sera , we are going to Wembley ) just as Peterborough score an equaliser in injury time.

Elliott Lee then misses a pen in the shoot out and Wrexham go out.

O dear, how sad, never mind  😂

Same here but then again it's very satisfying to see those smug Welsh pricks blowing it.

Just watched the Sunderland win over Sheffield Wed. Luke O’Nein is such a good player, he’s not tall or strong but he’s a proper leader and exactly what you want in the EFL. Proper shithouse as well.

Playing CB now which is impressive considering he’s 5ft 9

I suppose injuries and suspensions, and not a bolton win

A massive Birmingham win to reduce Wycombe's GD advantage over us and dent their confidence would be nice.

I think we will do better the Bolton. Would prefer draw so both are catchable.

Baffling that Wycombe again havent started Kone, and have only just subbed him on.

Still no Stansfield for Birmingham. They're not the same without him or Dykes

As long as they beat other teams around us, that will be fine

Going to be a lot of added time at Birmingham, their Goalkeeper is down with what looks like a head injury... Going to be another 8mins added anyway

Just need Stevenage and Blackpool to win and possibly Lincoln

Why? Their draw means that 2 play off rivals have both dropped points.

Coventry won again under Lampard. What a job he's doing. They're 5th now.
