What about if we've already got Stevenage and Peterborough tickets?0
-
Yeah, credit to the club for trying to shift more tickets, as long as it doesn't lead to a perception that season tickets are less valuable. I'm sure they'll have thought that through though.Killarahales said:What about if we've already got Stevenage and Peterborough tickets?2 -
It is positive but to be critical it doesn’t go far enough / offer a real incentive.Given you are including a Saturday Sky game the incentive could be more.I’d like to see buy one get one half price as a better offer or buy 2 get the third free.I don’t even think we are doing football for a fiver any more.1

As the Addicks chase a top-six finish, don’t miss the crucial final six home games of the season with the 'Super 6 - The Run-In' bundle.
Starting with the visit of Barnsley on Tuesday, March 4th, the bundle also includes Charlton's home games against Wigan Athletic (Saturday, March 15th), Huddersfield Town (Saturday, March 29th), Lincoln City (Saturday, April 5th), Northampton Town (Friday, April 18th) and the final game of the season against Burton Albion (Saturday, May 3rd).
Be there and be part of the journey with this special bundle. Adult tickets are available from £110 - just £18.33 per game - while U11s bundles can be purchased from just £15.

It’s a good initiative, however I would expect at least four of the last six to be on TV. Two already are and Burton is bound to be moved as they will want to show the last games. Huddersfield is also a likely contender. This might affect people’s decisions0

Both the play off Semi Finals and Final are on TV. Will that affect peoples decisions to go to them?MStuartPerm said:It’s a good initiative, however I would expect at least four of the last six to be on TV. Not if the need/want points for play off tickets
Personally I can't see anyone choosing to watch any games from the run in on tv, if we are in the positions we are in now.1 -
Looks like different prices for the different parts of the stadium (see picture below). I have said it might affect people’s decisions. Many have said on the past they have other commitments for early kick offs, children’s games etcshine166 said:MStuartPerm said:It’s a good initiative, however I would expect at least four of the last six to be on TV. It’s also a cost aspect for some. Especially if they can see the game on TV and have already paid for that.
As I said it’s a good initiative all for getting more fans in.
I agree any Charlton fan will surely want to be at the game, we haven’t had much to get excited by over the past 5 or 6 seasons

I am guessing that the price of these tickets are not cheaper than what existing season ticket holders pay.

If you were planning now to go to all six games and sit in the lower Covered End or family stand it’s a worthwhile offer, but there isn’t likely to be a big take-up because that's a relatively small cohort as many of those people will already have season tickets.
It’s no benefit to anyone who can’t guarantee being able to attend all six elsewhere - a maximum adult saving from doing so of £17 or £12 in the east and west against an upfront commitment of £145 or £180.

Bit like most deals then ? only of value if they work for you.Airman Brown said:If you were planning now to go to all six games and sit in the lower Covered End or family stand it’s a worthwhile offer, but there isn’t likely to be a big take-up because that's a relative small cohort as many of those people will already have season tickets.

Do you go in to Tesco and moan about the meal deals as you only wanted a snack and a sandwich ?7 -
The attractive offer would be either buy one get the next match half price or buy 2 get the third match free.1

Do they offer a meal deal for £180? Hardly a sensible comparison.shine166 said:

Its a pertfect comparison, its blatantly obvious that if you cant attend all the games then the deals not for you..Airman Brown said:

You can obviously comment on prices as you always do, its just always the same type of negative response every single time.2 -
It’s a factual comment. Sorry if the facts suggest the offer is a bit crap.shine166 said:

I designed the club’s ticket offers for 20 years (with some success). Hardly surprising then that I tend to look at what they do and have an idea what works and what doesn’t.
Your posts, on the other hand, are’t about the offer, they are about me. I doubt anyone cares what you think of me. Why would they?23 -
The offer seems to keep the "per game" prices just a little above what the season ticket - 1/2 season ticket rate. Seems reasonable although as a season ticket holder I would'nt mind if CAFC undercut those rates in order to increase attendances in this seasons run-in games. I do understand how that might affect season ticket take up in the near future but I would "gamble" a bit on getting promotion which would probably wipe out any negative effect on future season ticket sales.ElfsborgAddick said:I am guessing that the price of these tickets are not cheaper than what existing season ticket holders pay.
My experience is thats its a well timed, good idea/offer. As performances have improved interest from my group of lapsed Charlton supporting friends who have been taking up any unused seats from my season tickets has increased and a few are going to take advantage of the offer so as to ensure they get a seat.1 -

@Airman Brown, playing a big part previously at the club, have you ever recently been asked or “offered “any advice re fan initiatives? As times like now I would have thought you would be quite useful?
If you have time & commitment obviously.
