Cardiff at home on Tuesday ought to be a safe three points. I know they had a good result in their Welsh derby yesterday but generally they are poor. Millwall will finish around 14th / 15th I would think. With four of the bottom five to play next up I would expect safety almost assured.
You would think they'll be ok but Hull were in the relegation zone and won at Millwall yesterday.
Hull were pony as well yesterday. They didn’t have one clear cut chance all game (same as us). Even their goal was a fluke own goal.

Having said that, they made much fewer basic errors than us. We was making them all over the pitch all game. It was a mess.

Both you and Palarse always find a way, and it's usually by winning away to a top 6 team, and then going on a mini run just as Charlton fans get their hopes up

But looking at the table though you are definitely not in playoff places anymore (so at least this is not a Millwall promotion thread thankfully).

In fact your more likely to get relegated than Palace, this season. What happened (do you miss us that much?)?
  • I don't expect them to drop into the relegation places but the rest of Jan/Feb will be key. Bad run in their next 8-10 games and March onwards looks tough for them.  Have to hope for a couple of injuries and any new players taking time to settle. 🤞

Going to be an exciting relegation scrap this season. Just 15 points between the playoff and relegation places.

I watched my grandson play this morning and the opposition kept lumping the ball forward, one of the dad’s shouted out “it’s like watching Millwall”

Don't expect but would love them too. 🤞

That is what happened with us isn't it. Dreaming of play-offs till January....then when Gallagher left we lost ground... then lockdown happened...Lyle decide not to play on... and then we couldn't keep up with the pace.

Championship has always been a weird league. Though (looking it objectively for a moment) Millwall has as much chance of reaching the (Championship) playoffs as Wigan (in League One)*. Only difference being Wigan* have an extra game in hand. That game (still to play) will pretty much determine their season. If they loose and they are in trouble, win and their season is mid-table again. Draw wouldn't be bad (but they have to match/better the Portsmouth result- handy we gave them a kick about as the curtain raiser now).

    Cardiff equaliser 90+7
  • 1 win in 13 now for Millwall. 8 points from a possible 39 available. Next two matches are the big ones if any hope of them being relegated.

Personally do not think they will be relegated, but would be nice to see them properly amongst it still come April time.

Luton in real trouble. Bloomfield might find his old and new clubs swapping divisions

I can see Wycombe slowly falling away, especially if they lose Kone before the end of the month.

See, everytime someone posts on here getting all hopeful, the fuckers go and win. Watch them go and get 3 wins in their next 5 games now and suddenly they'll be sniffing about the lower reaches of the playoffs again

Definitely needs a bump this thread. My god we was shit today. So so bad. Could this be the season it happens? We’ve had a good run and all good things come to an end. I’m usually an optimistic bloke but I think we will definitely be in the mix at the end of the season. Watch this space. Today was as bad as it gets.
Sorry if I got anyone’s hopes up with this post, looks like I was being a bit premature (not the first time my wife will say). A couple of wins and a draw and all of a sudden we’re closer to the playoffs than the relegation spots.

Still, on the plus side, looks like you could be joining us next season. Hope you manage it. Would be good to renew old acquaintances 😁

I noted they broke their transfer record in this window over two million pounds for one player, seven others brought in. funded by the sale of two players for twenty one million pounds.
That is how far apart we are these days.

Pwoper facking’wall’ seem to do it every season, looks like could be drawn into a relegation battle then win 5 or so on spin , the pain is even worse for me as I’m married to one .

They'll be unstuck in March. That is when they have the tricky fixtures.

I’ve tried to get her to change , but sadly she’s having none of it .
