MATCH THREAD : Blackpool V Charlton Athletic : Saturday 1st February 2025 : KO 15:00

🎶"Oh I do like to be beside the seaside"🎶...
Today we travel to the North West Coast for a day out at Blackpool, and while we are at it we will take in a game at Bloomfield Road, the home of Blackpool FC..
I think it's fair to say that Blackpool are on a nice run of 6 wins on the spin, but we ain't too shabby either in the results department, and today will be no different, and I fully expect us to make the trip home with a point at least, with the heart going for the 4th win on the bounce and three more points on the table, Blackpool sit 5 places and 6 points below us in the league, no doubt Steve Bruce’s side will be looking to maintain momentum this weekend following back-to-back wins at Exeter City and Lincoln City.

We've locked horns on 69 occasions against Blackpool, winning 19, the Seasiders 32 and the remaining 18 meetings resulting in draws, Blackpool ran out 2-1 victors at The Valley in the reverse fixture in September 2024, so yet another game where we owe the opposition a defeat eh.

IF results go our way today, we could be troubling the top 6 tonight...🤞

Gas is available for selection apparently, we will be wearing the grey away kit in Lancashire...

So, here we go everyone

Team news...
