  Those were the days. Stick computer games where the sun don’t shine. Can’t beat the likes of Cross Fire.

  Not a disaster as such but I said to the missus that I needed some replacements for my compact binoculars that I take with me when we go on holiday.
  
  I end up with a set that, frankly, wouldn't look out of place mounted on the bridge of the Ark Royal and would take up half my weight allowance.
  
  Umm, "...cheers love! I'll keep these for best I think."

  I had a version of crossfire with WW1 Fighters.  Anybody remember it? It seems lost in the sands of time but I definitely had one and really enjoyed playing with it. My son got the new Outsmarted game as one of his presents but they had technical problems and it didn't work at all yesterday.

  Got a CAFC keyring with a bottle opener on it. It was broken. Says it all.

  When to Ireland early in the year, brought Mrs GA a claddagh ring, not really expensive, but she liked it, it had a split band. She didn’t have it long and she lost it. So I replaced it yesterday, the same size. Told her not to loose it, probably she should get a band to go on it, to stop it coming off. Guess who lost the replacement ring? 🤬

  My son and his girlfriend bought me a set of 6 Port glasses. I took them to the kitchen to unpack and put them in the dishwasher. I now have a set of 5.
