Christmas present disasters

I ordered an item on my daughter's Xmas list on 9th December.

I have been checking the order tracking as it has taken ages to deliver and I still haven't received it.
The order was ready for collection on 10th and Evri collected it on the 20th. It has been through several check points since so I have been expecting it any day.

This morning I checked again, and at 9.30 this morning it had left the AIRPORT. I didn't realise I had been following its progress across America...

Hopefully it's a direct flight to Lapland otherwise Santa is going to have to go back for it.

  • Reminds me of that Steve Merchant film Click and Collect.

Someone I know has bought themselves a virtual reality headset for Christmas. But they are not into gaming and don't watch movies. They just wanted reality to be different. I can’t help but think they are heading for a big disappointment.
maybe they just want to wear it around the house
  • Other half ordered stuff from Converse for the kids. It was "out with Evri" for weeks until they finally admitted it wasn't and she was refunded. Someone had nicked it obviously but it means those presents aren't arriving:(
Evri seem particularly bad for this

Our Evri delivery driver bucks the trend and is absolutely brilliant, I gather we are very lucky.

  • It'll be a disaster for me, I'll be lucky to make Christmas.
The wife got money wallets for a few people for me.
I've just started to write them out and fill with cash.
    I've hit a snag , though.
I've done the cards willy nilly and I'm now coming across the niece and nephew wallets.
My problem is I've already done their cards  , I'm going to be short on cards and am about to tell the wife
  • Ordered an advent calendar at the beginning of November that had fishing equipment in every door for my son who’s mad for fishing . It turned up yesterday !
  • Some of our recent takeovers were completed around Christmas time.

You should have contacted the supplier and told them to their skates on.

  • My late grandmother was famous for buying all her pressies from a long-gone shop in Welling called All-Saves.

I think they specialized in bankrupt stock, surplus, fire-damaged goods, etc. would have made Del-Boy happy if he had bought his stock there!

One year she gave everyone in the family bags of Licorice Allsorts that must have been exposed to the sun or some form of heat. When you opened the bag there was just one solid piece in there.

Another year she gave me an Airfix model of the Titanic that couldn’t be built because the two halves of the hull were so warped that no amount of glue would stick them together!

    Happy days,

Did he pay up front or was it COD?
  • I bought a butt plug for my Nan once.

    She wasn’t impressed……ungrateful cow.
  • Remember getting crossfire game for Christmas with my brother, only to open it and find only one gun.

Those were the days. Stick computer games where the sun don’t shine. Can’t beat the likes of Cross Fire.

Did you rename it “fucking annoyed fire”?
