Perhaps we should make the worst plate holder do the walk of shame around the pitch on Boxing Day, we could pelt them with the left over brussels that would otherwise go to waste, in fond memory of previous Belgian pitch hurlings.

When you said ‘I’ll have the leg’ I presume you expected Turkey rather than a daddy long legs? Or is that just a decorative twig in the middle of your plate.
