As a business we are merely staving off administration, surely. Losses are one thing, but with no sign of an upturn on or off the pitch it seems a dire financial situation for the owners. Will they throw in good money after a bloody awful first year?
To apply a restaurant analogy, they thought they'd bought a former Michelin star place, but now we're serving up crap food in a reasonably expensive restaurant that once had a good reputation. The customers are now leaving bad reviews and have stopped booking tables. The owner must surely look at changing the chef and the serving staff. Either that or fold at a significant loss.

Had it on, I think, good authority at the excellent U21 match last night that it is recruitment process that is being reviewed more so than Nathan Jones.

It has to change, if we are going to be successful.
The fact we’re all fed up, and writing off the season (again) in December is ridiculous, why not talk to other owners who have been successful, and see ask them how they’ve done it, would be a start.

We had it hammered into us pre season that Nathan Jones was responsible for recruiting, his choices, his decision.

So what part of the process is left to review
Why was he given those responsibilities? Who gave them to him? What is that person/those people doing if not recruitment?
I do agree this all starts and ends with recruitment. But the coaching of this team is...clearly lacking. But if I had to choose one, I'd rather we improve recruitment as that will, in the long term, make it easier to attract a new manager if/when we need one.

I thought he insisted on it in his contract so if true nobody gave him the responsibility to get rid of it, he asked for it
I think there has been a lot of buck passing by Charlie. He spins his propaganda to his forum friends, Scott is in charge of recruitment. Jones recruited these players over the summer, I didn’t choose Holden, Appleton and Jones. Yes Charlie, but you are in charge of this shit show, you appointed the SMT and they all report to you.Tell us Charlie, why have you kept the failing Scott in his role for this long? Why did you sanction selling our best players to our rivals? Why were you boasting about having the 4th biggest budget in the league a couple of months ago and now we have relegation form? We want leadership, not excuses and self preservation!
And in those 2 years they've taken us from a team that was 14th after 19 games with 24 points to (checks notes) a team that is 14th after 19 games with 24 points.

Via finishing 16th last season.
Amazing stuff.
Sums these tossers up in a nutshell
Look on the bright side, they still have another six months to turn this season around.

More importantly though they have all got decent salaries in those 2 years and been billy big bollocks owners so can swan around the directors boxes for free with assorted fans noses wedged up their anuses on demand.

He'd probably do a better job.
Scott will be out soon that would suggest.

But we must remember the January '23 window was nothing to do with these people, so we keep being told by a certain poster.
