I'm sure Ranieri was between jobs when Curbs left. I have never understood why the club didn't talk to him about the vacancy at the time. Ruud has definitely put himself in the shop window for a Managers job after 3 wins and a draw and the mood just relaxed at United as soon as he was interim.
