In my opinion the midfield needs a complete overhaul, that is where a lot of the problems stem from, and unless this is addressed things will not improve.
Did you know that our midfield squad of 8 players have got an abysmal Assist record of 8 between all of them. We've scored 58 goals!
If that doesn't tell you it needs ripping up and starting again nothing will.4 -
Immensely disappointed by Ladapo to be honest. I didn't expect a huge amount but I am even more disappointed in his complete lack of anything.
He's had one good shot - that he scored from.
Aside from that I can't think of a single positive contribution from him. He's rarely in the right place at the right time. He's not exactly pressing defenders like his life depends on it - unlike Kanu
He's been massively shown-up by a 19 year old kid in his first full season and he's free to leave in the summer. Please7 -
Ladapo will possibly have a bonus tied in with an Ipswich promotion to the Premier League, I imagine he'll be an Ipswich player should they go up.0

I was was hopeful he would be a very good signing. His turn and finish at The Valley for Ipswich was top class. Now reality has hit home. It was Lavelle he turned.6

Particularly if he has the same agent as Arter.

the space between the defenders and midfield would be 5 yards. The gap between midfield and attack would be 3.4 miles1 -

He has been pretty poor, and I thought he would be a great signing for us.. Let's hope we can keep Leaburn fit next season.0

I don't think he's been as bad as made out on here, wouldn't renew the loan though0

I was very positive about this signing because I have seen him a few times and saw a player who put himself about and troubled defenders. Then when he came to us, it looked like he was getting fit in the side which isn't ideal but that should have happened by now. There is a possibility it has dented his confidence but he is not playing to the evel he has shown previously at other clubs. Whatever the reason for that is.0

Has signed for Huddersfield on a 2 year deal.1

Hat-trick incoming against us then!!5

If they dominate possession I guess he might do ok. If they need him to improve them outside the box whether that’s with energy, holding up the ball, linking the play, running at players or winning headers they’ll be disappointed just as we were.1
-
A real shame it didn’t work out with us, he did come with a lot of hype, but never got going here.1

Nice big payoff from Ipswich I assume! Doubt his heart is still in it and this will be a last payday. Was useless for us.0
-
Their owner didn't think Alfie May was worth the money. Has said so on Twitter. Their fans seemed less than happy with that decision. Assume Ladapo is the 'replacement.' If he's as bad as he was for us, that owner will be getting even more stick.1
-
So many players are useless for us and only us, and we write them off.
I suspect he'll be the same and he'll do well there4 -
