Brownie over analyses individual moments sometimes, but we’ve played genuinely well 3 times this season so if he’s a bit negative about our general performances he’s not being miserable he’s being honest.7

Penalty, for me. It was hit at him from close range but I think he’s stuck his arm about there hoping it might block something and him get away with it.3

In all my life listening to football commentary I’ve never heard anyone speak about the game like Steve Brown does during it - and there’s a reason for that.
He was good value in the studio where it’s slowed down and you can discuss certain bits backed up by video - but it does not work during the game.5
