Listened to Brownie’s commentary on the Eurostar between Amsterdam & Antwerp.Pleased that Godden took the pen. Always felt he’d smash it, rather than steer it into the keeper’s hands.Bloody stressful listening rather than watching though 😩.Let’s hope Lloyd Jones and RamsAy are back soon. 🤞 Without them top 6 is very unlikely.3

Well that was a poor performance.
Great ending though. Brave pen, well taken that man.
Nathan, please, please play Tyreece in his best position.6 -
Also, that tackle on TC at the end is a disgrace and should have been a red IMO. No intention of playing the ball. Just smashing his legs away from him. Two Wrexham fans walking up the hill after giving it the Barry about it’s not a red etc but it is . Serious foul play21

Best thing about that was the way Mitchell completely mugged off McLean after the penalty was scored. Had words before it was taken and McClean tried to carry it on, Mitchell basically laughed in his face while McCnut was offering him out for a fight in the tunnel.11

2-2 was a fair result and a good day out overall.

Couldn't post during the game due to our piss poor wifi connection so will have various outpourings on here over the coming hours.
A draw was probably a fair result and like Tuesday no one really deserved the 3 points.
Wrexham were the better going forward & showed how to play the ball to feet, although it helps having 2 lumps up front who know how to grab & grapple their opponent.
Worrying that we cant get into a lead before half time & worrying that we now cant win a game. It might look like we are in touch with the top 6 but we are far from being a top 6 side. Not enough creativity & not enough up front. Injuries dont help but when all are fit we cant start with Chuks & Ahadme is not good enough.
Season not over at the end of October but unless Jones can stick to a starting 11 & find something up front then by the time the clocks go forward in 5 months time it will be another wasted season.8 -
We worked very hard but the same old issues arise.
A midfield that wasn't equal to the opposition. Leaburn is very rusty. Hylton is old, slow, dirty and painful to watch.
Tyreece Campbell IS A WIDE PLAYER AND NOT A CENTRE FORWARD!
14 games, 9 starts, 0 goals, 0 assists.
I'll keep repeating his stats until either I'm right or Nathan Jones is right.

xG will be inflated by about 0.8 because of the pen though. Still have to earn that chance of courseCallumcafc said:Post game stats

Also enjoyed the complete silence from the Wrexham fans sitting behind me in the West Lower as Godden scored the pen.5

Why are our fans filming other fans being punched and doing nothing about it…..0

Illness meant I had to swerve the long drive over today. I was gutted to miss it but watched on Charlton TV..
So happy we got that late equaliser. I was dreading losing to that lot. Nothing against Parkinson, Dobbo, Lee, their ownership or the geniuine, long-standing Wrexham fans - but all the johnny-come-lately hollywood/Netflix inspired plastics can f*** right off.
Absolutely deserved the point. We were the better side in the first half and should have gone ahead when a wicked free kick from Luke Berry evaded the slightest touch it needed to divert in. On the other hand, Elliott Lee was unlucky when he struck the bar with a first time shot. Our tactical changes in the second half were clearly aimed at sharpening our attack but at the same time it gave them a lot of space, which they exploited well.
Both the ex-addicks did well for them. I always thought Elliott Lee was under-rated and he showed the guile and ability to pick a forward pass that we so obviously lack. Dobbo was Dobbo. I miss him and we’d be a better side if he was still playing for us.
A decent result but yet another draw. We’ve got to string a few wins together soon to stand a chance of staying in touching distance of the play offs.

Didn’t see this - presume it’s the muggy lot I referred to who were spoiling for it.Red_Chester said:Why are our fans filming other fans being punched and doing nothing about it…..0 -

The league table doesn’t lie. 11th is about right. Can’t understand posters clinging onto the season as if we’ll suddenly morph into a top six team. We’re miles off yet again. No idea where this club is heading but we’re very much an established third tier football club now. Depressing and disappointing club to support. Jones was another false dawn. After 64 years of support I finally feel the passion for the club slipping away. It is what it is though I suppose.39

Anyone else watching on the stream see Jones and Docherty at the end. Walking across the pitch together and Jones was going absolutely nuts, Docherty looked completely bemused and was totally ignoring him.
Said it a few times now, I would like to know what the players really think of him.6 -

Exactly my take on who/where we are as a club.ShootersHillGuru said:The league table doesn’t lie. 11th is about right. Were Wrexham much better? Pretty stuff at times but palmer and Mullin looked poor footballers. Good at shithousery but dog shit footballers.Croydon said:I don't know how anyone watched that and thought we were good for a point. That was a truly dreadful performance completely devoid of ideas summed up by bringing on an out of shape Danny Hylton.
A penalty at the death glossing over another sub par effort. 1 win in 7, 11th in the league, and the pack is starting to pull away from us.
a point was a fair in my view5 -
Very good battle and spirt from the boys .. looked the better side for large periods but strangely lost our way when Jones switched to 352 … but deserved draw Wrexham no great shakes but have a way of playing which works for them … well done boys good performance and deserved point

A lowly 17th in 5-game form table.

Interesting to see that view, as everyone round me thought Palmer completely bossed our defence all game. Played rhe target man role brilliantlyTodds_right_hook said:
